Awesome

Would love an Apple TV version too.

Does it all

Like a DAP on my phone :)

Does not support Airsonic.

Unusable with Airsonic (which supports the Subsonic API), gives an error about incompatible Airsonic REST protocol version, but every other subsonic client seems to work fine.
Update: developer has responded claiming that the Airsonic api is incompatible, but that is not true, Airsonic was derived from Subsonic and is still compatible with the API. And every other subsonic client I’ve tried (and I’ve tried a LOT) works just fine with it.

Response from developer

Update three 29/7/2026 - the reviewer has edited his review again. The fact still stands that this is an OpenSubsonic compatible client and Airsonic does not comply with the OpenSubsonic spec. Airsonic is deprecated and hasn't been updated in years. If the reviewer isn't just trolling, I would expect that he/she would remove this review since it serves no purpose. Update two 25/7/2026 - after a one second google search it seems that Airsonic does not comply with the Open Subsonic spec so is not a compatible server with this app. Hi sorry I’ve never been able to test with an Airsonic server. If I ever get the chance I will get it working. Feel free to leave feedback directly through email also if you have a way I can test on your server. Kind regards Update 25/7/2026 - Reviewer edited the review so I am adding: Feel free to open an issue on Github or Discord.

Best one so far

I’ve hopped around between various Navidrome clients for iOS, and I’m liking Arpeggi the most so far. The UI is very native both in terms of look, feel, and function. I haven’t encountered any noticeable issues so far, it just works the way it’s supposed to and allows me to enjoy my local music library without unnecessary bells and whistles. Huge thanks to the developer for sharing their work of this app for free.

Gives an error about the API

Unusable, gives an error about incompatible Airsonic REST protocol version, but I’m not changing my server that works just fine with every other subsonic client just for this app.

Amazing for what it is

Worked without much tinkering, LOVE HOW YOU CAN GET LYRICS FOR ANY SONG, Please add a feature to control the volume of the sound especially on computer, I use Mac and I can’t turn down the volume for each app like on windows.

Best music client for Navidrome

Decided to get rid of that expensive Orange music subscription. And this definitely makes one feel like at home

An excellent Subsonic client

I’ve been looking for a good iOS Subsonic client since I moved my music library to Navidrome but have been constantly disappointed by a lack of polish on everything I tried. Not anymore! Arpeggi is super nice to use and I’d say the best option out there for what it is. Really good app!

Really good

Honestly perfect for most scenarios I would suggest adding and eq tho

Great App!

Honestly the only iOS client that is both functional and aesthetically fit with other apps from apple ecosystem. Other features I wanted would be integrating api to download animate artwork and aac transcoding.

The best Navidrome app

Free and full of features that are paid on other apps.

How the heck is this free?

This is one beautiful app. Thank you for all your hard work and letting us have it for free!

The best

Simply the best. It has CarPlay support. I can connect to my homelab Navidrome perfectly!!! 1000/10.

Easily my favorite Navidrome client

This is great! It’s super clean, intuitive, and full featured. The CarPlay is excellent. The app is super responsive and the settings are easy to access. Nice! Keep it up!!

Best client

I have tried many and this is the best iOS client for self-hosted Navidrome server. Clean interface. Gapless play. Supports multi-library selection. Supports different transcoding profiles based on whether the connection is on wifi or cellular network. Supports CarPlay.

Perfect for Navidrome!

This app is seamless and runs perfectly. Played around with a few different Subsonic clients and Arpeggi had everything. I think the best part is the total control over the app. From layout to cache size I feel the developer didn’t hide anything behind the curtain.

One addition I’d like to see is download management. When I download multiple playlists all the songs are bunched together under downloads. So if I’m on the plane and I want to hit my downloaded sleep playlist I can’t.

Thanks for all the hard work on this!!
