Sono+ Saves Sonos
If you’re like me, the past few years have been a rocky relationship with the once rock solid Sonos. Dropped speakers, long delays in the app (even after “improvements”) and buggy software. Hardwiring into the router didn’t help. All of which led me to Reddit, which led me to Sono+.
It makes using Sonos a joy. I had forgotten what it was like to have lightning fast functionality. And perhaps best of all is that the developer is incredibly passionate and responsive. All feedback I’ve provided has been followed-up with thoughtful responses.

Abo Verhalten
Haste ein Probeabo am iPad und wollte das zusätzlich auf dem iPhone. Hier hätte ich wieder ein Abo abschließen sollen. Zweimal zahlen.. hmm ungern und daher gleich wieder gekündigt und App gelöscht - schade ….
Great Option
Nice alternative to the native SONOS app. Simple design with the setting you need to access quickly. Only suggestion would be to tap to the left/right of the volume slider vs. having to hold and slide.

Das Sonos selbst keine App für Widgets zur Verfügung stellt, lasse ich mal unkommentiert. (manchmal erinnert mich Sonos an Nokia) Vielen Dank den Erstellern dieser App. Genau die ist es, welche die Verwendung der Sonos Produkte erleichtert und gefälliger macht.
Fine, but annoying paywall.
App works fine, free features work fine. However, locking the main purpose of the app, literally the name, behind a paywall seems sleazy. It could’ve just been a paid app.

Die beste App um die Sonos zu steuern. Alle Boxen/Räume sofort verfügbar. Über Homescreen oder Widgets auch direkt ansteuerbar.
Hatte heute kurz das Problem, dass meine Vollversion sich abgemeldet hatte und nicht wieder laufen wollte. Innerhalb weniger Minuten nach einer Mail von Paul gelöst!

This life has been a lifesaver, I never do reviews. NEVER. But this app has prevented me from buying a physical remote for Sonos setup.
One thing, I would love the ability to see all the songs in a particular playlist and play them. Instead of just skipping tracks

Vorher gut nun ein Traum!
Nachdem Sonos seine eigene App kontinuierlich bis zur völligen Unbrauchbarkeit geradezu verstümmelt hat, war eine andere Steuerungs-App nicht nur sinnvoll sondern zwingend erforderlich. Sono+ war schon vor dem letzten Update auf 3.0 eine große Hilfe. Jetzt aber macht mein SONOS-System wieder richtig Spaß! Vielen Dank für die gute Arbeit, das Herzblut und das Dranbleiben!

Seit Jahren begeisterte Kunde. Hab vorher bereits die alte App genutzt. Guter Kontakt zum Entwickler wenn etwas nicht läuft.
Das Update lässt mich strahlen und Sonos vermutlich vor Neid erblassen.

Widget artwork display issues
I just bought this app to be able to control my Sonos system from a widget on my iPad. It sorts of work but I am quite disappointed: 1/ widget is very buggy, everytime I interact with it (click anywhere), the sonos favorite artwork is reshuffled. 2/There are only three buttons that can be customized and most of the remaining space is occupied with the always moving artwork 3/ the buttons are vey small, smaller than the album artworks that I am not very interested in. 4/ the icon symbols are not very beautiful. I think developers have a good basis for a great app but it needs work currently to solve issues and improve those points mentioned above. Until they improve it, I would not recommend purchasing it.

iOS 18 problems
Now playing and widgets are not working for me on iOS 18. These were the major reasons I got this app. When I play songs in the app they do not show up in Lock Screen.
Needs more than 3 buttons..
I only use this for the widget to control volume fast. You need more than three for all functions though, why limit it?
