From good to bad

It has now become an awful experience and I kinda want my money back. Glitches, real technical problems that no one seems to be bothered about fixing.

Signed Out & Home Screen Rearranged Everyday!!

With the latest update, Every time I shutdown my iPhone & iPad (which I do every night) the app signs me out!?! I have to sign back in every day and rearrange the Home Screen again because it gets messed up!! The app is now truly useless!! Stuck playing my music via Airplay, therefore no Dolby Atmos!! As soon as the new HomePods get released I’ll be going back to Apple. Patience is now truly exhausted!

Loving It!

I have owned my Sonos bar for a few years. Great sound!!! I wouldn’t change it for anything!!! It’s simple, Beautiful and plays anything I throw at it. Beats Bose hands down! So get one if u haven’t already!!

Network changes

WHY does it not register network changes? Had new network equipment installed and I was able to update the network on the speakers but not the app?? Now my app says it can’t find any device. I updated the network on the app as well and it can’t find anything. I’m tired of having to factory reset my speakers EACH TIME.

Terrible

Terrible system, always has connectivity problems, would give 0 stars if I could

Why?

Used to be user friendly, but now it’s totally unusable due to new format. The old app worked fine. Taking this long to fix the problem is unacceptable. This is worse than Motorola deciding digital was a bad medium. Keep firing CEOs until it is fixed. How many one star ratings are you willing to accept before you improve your substandard product. I used to rave about Sonos, now I refuse to buy any more until you fix it.

Wrote above several months ago, but the Sonos app continues to be awful. It might be getting worse if that is possible. I have too much invested to throw it out, but for now I won’t buy any more.

Update: It is still terrible.

Very temperamental

I have an era 100 and two era 300 connected to a solid mesh home WiFi system. About 75% of the time one of (or all) the speakers disconnects. I should have just purchased a few cheap JBL speakers. Less hassle.

Money milkers.

There is absolutely 0 reason why I’m unable to connect two sub minis together. Other than to force people to go and buy the big one, don’t remember the name. Then you’re stuck with a useless sub mini. Spent all this money on yalls speakers and your telling me theres no Bluetooth on top of it? What an absolute joke. I will be switching from Sonos once I get my moneys worth out of these money milker speakers. Ridiculous. Never buying Sonos products again!!!!

Update: Now I’ve realized that they make you pay for YouTube music to be able to use it on the Sonos app😂 YouTube music is free? Why do yall force people to have the paid version to use it on the app? Hmm probably because you all don’t let people connect via Bluetooth so you had to come up with an agreement with YouTube to have there service put on your app. Just a guess tho. 2026 and no Bluetooth, gosh I can’t wait to get rid of this system.

So called improved navigation BAD

Improved navigation is it bit like Apple glass, it allows you see everything behind the main bar at the bottom, which means you can’t see anything.

And why this obsession of forcing services on the Home Screen. Why does it need to be there?

constant dropouts.

miserable experience

Same again

Works fine until you update it makes me wonder if it’s worth updating 😡 happens every time

Connection

After setting up the Sonus speaker numerous times I keep getting the message Sorry cannot connect. I’ve tried everything but to no avail.

Years on, it’s still worse than with the old app

They messed everything up rewriting the app to support the (failed) headphones and it’s never recovered. Still loads slower to load in your content. Have got used to the UI but not the speed.

Hardware is great, app is terrible

All of a sudden, the Sonos app cannot find my system. I’ve setup everything again, same result. I cannot change anything

Glitchy

The Sonos system is glitchy and unreliable, and I am very unhappy about the planned obsolescence of their speaker systems

What’s wrong with Samsung Remote

I love the Sonos Arc Ultra system! However, since today’s (09/15) update my Samsung volume button doesn’t work 🤷🏻. I didn’t change anything. Please help.

Please stop updating and breaking everything

Just when I thought things were going ok.
After the most recent app update my ceiling speakers/amp won't play music. The app thinks it's playing, switching the 'play' icon to a 'stop' icon along with bouncing EQ lines next to the song, but no music.

Please fix...

High Maintenance

The speakers sound amazing but I have to factory reset 3 to 4 times a year and the connectivity is garbage. Always having difficulties connecting to all my speakers in the house. When I use my voice to stop the music that is playing sometimes Sonos will tell me that nothing is playing.

Amazing

Latest software was able to integrate my super old Sonos speakers with the latest ones. Perfect

Mobile app fiasco

Need to rewrite and fix the usability and experience of mobile app. History in the making.
