this game is as amazing as i remembered it to be as a kid about like 8 years ago or more but it breaks my heart to see the usage of Ai constantly in this game.

O jogo removeu o que era mais incrível no original, o coop. antes dava pra fazer todas fazes em coop e agora só algumas, também não podemos repetir fazer da história, deixaram o jogo todo automático, nada como era, espero que nas atualizações tragam o conteúdo todo coop e com possibilidade de refazer as fases, e também de formar cartas raras nos Boss como era

Fun til I couldn’t play anymore
I was actually enjoying this game til like 4 days or so in until I I got a bug where after I press start on the title screen, it would go to the game for about 45 seconds. Then just kick me back to the title screen so since it won’t let me play the game anymore, it gets a generous 1 star.

This is one of my most impactful childhood games, it’s slightly different but not a massive change where the game is unplayable. If anything I believe it’s way better with more helpful mechanics and content.

I waited years for this game to come back. The original Soul Guardians: Age of Midgard was easily one of the best mobile games I’ve ever played. The satisfying hack-and-slash combat, the amazing animations, the way characters and enemies looked when they died, opening card packs, building your roster, running stages with friends — it had so much heart and soul in it.
This new version still has that beautiful pixel art and the core combat feels familiar, but they completely changed the soul of the game.
The Reborn prestige system forces you to replay everything you’ve already beaten. You can’t freely switch between characters like before — everything is tied to this one-character grind and prestige loop. The random character system, no more card packs, no co-op dungeons, no guild battles the way they used to be… it all feels like they took the fun parts out and replaced them with systems designed to make you log in every day instead of actually enjoying the game.
I loved the grind back in the day because it felt rewarding. This just feels like work.
To the devs: I respect you for bringing the game back, but please listen to the old players. Bring back the freedom to play any character we want, bring back co-op, bring back card packs and give us a version that feels like the Soul Guardians we fell in love with — not just another prestige grinder.

With the new update the dungeons are extremely difficult and getting anything above a epic is almost impossible unless you spend money and even then theres so much you can grind when the main dungeons are unplayable
