Cute idea
It’s a cute idea wish the game actually worked. The sound does not turn off. It does not save your data. You don’t get to battle. The rice ball frozen the game. There just a lot of bugs and it seems like the game has been forgotten.
What I liked and disliked
Disliked
Rough graphics
No way to check your Soulrons’ type/element or stats, making it hard to tell if leveling up even increases stats
No way to tell what a Soulron’s moves do until you use them
Some Soulrons (like Meowning) have no damage-dealing moves
Glitches, glitches, glitches (selecting the girl avatar but still being forced to play as the boy; Soulrons randomly floating around the battle screen after using certain moves)
Uninspired level design
Liked
Some charming character designs
The monster-battler formula is pretty dang fun (you have to make a conscious effort to mess this up)
Overall, this game feels like it’s a work in progress. I hope the developer will continue to work on it because I think it has potential.
