Not an RPG. Not healing. It’s card collection + auto battle.
If you like endless hero collection/power up games then this is a decent one. If you liked Endless Frontier then you will like this. It’s essentially the same thing re-skinned with cool character animations and a different battle mechanism. It’s hilarious that they call it an rpg…and even more that it’s healing, when the primary mechanic is battling, powering up, then battling more powerful opponents. The auto battle animations are too fast to appreciate the moves of each hero. It’s littered with daily login rewards and pay to upgrade options.

I came back
Played for 2 years then lost acct after phone change. Missed the play and the strategy of the game and had to get myself back in the game or find treatment for severe boredom.

Увы и к большому сожалению, пришлось удалить. И дело тут не в качестве, здесь хочу отметить проект очень хорош во всем - прекрасный контент, можно без доната, разработчики выкатывают интересные обновления регулярно по расписанию, как швейцарские часы, рекламы нет вообще никакой. Всё супер!!!

1. В России играть без VPN невозможно.
2. Последнее время стало невозможно часто вылетать, не давая возможности что-либо сделать.
3. За три года не добавили Русский язык. Ребята разработчики, Вас это характеризует не с самой лучшей стороны, мягко говоря.

Best in its genre
I’ve played a lot of idle gacha games over the years, and SOULS is easily the best I’ve played. SOULS does a great job at encouraging you to build and experiment with multiple teams through its Soul Link system which is complemented by how little power creep there is. Older heroes are still extremely viable, and new heroes usually fill a niche or enable new team combinations instead of just making your old investments obsolete. That’s huge for someone like me who isn’t a heavy spender.
It also respects your time. I can hop on, make progress, and get off without feeling like I need to play for hours every day, while still having plenty of strategy when I actually want to sit down and mess around with my team compositions, builds, and/or positioning.
The art style and color palette are probably the cherry top. I am a bit biased as I enjoy the unique mythical character designs over the anime style characters with different outfits. However, I do think a hero backstory or description would add to their character a bit.
Great balance of casual progression and strategic depth. Easy 5 stars.

Very relaxing, fun gameplay
I was looking for a new game, I’ve always been a fan of rpgs, I wanted something different to Pokémon go and I sure found it. It sort of reminds me of gwent the Witcher card game, just as in depth. The music is relaxing as well. Would definitely recommend. There are options to purchase things but I have not needed to buy anything, the first chapter is super easy but after that you need to strategize more and more.

Fun but glitchy on iPad
I enjoy the game but it’ll close out randomly on my iPad while playing. Seems to be more when I do the main stages or I click on a mission that takes me to the chapter stages.

Longevity
This is a game I’ve been playing almost since it launched daily. Depending if I just want to get my dailies done or if I have time to sit and dig deeper into the game, it’s perfect!

I’ve had this game for almost four years now and I am addicted. There is always something to unlock/grind for. The grind isn’t super fast or easy. The characters are cool design wise and ability wise and it’s cool to build a team and learn what each character is good at. All around great game and completely free to play and not super pay to win.
