I upgraded to pro specifically to be able to export to CSV but it crashes every time I try to use it. Totally useless to me. Please fix the bug or refund me.

Useless

When will Apple learn, what's the point of putting an app it's site that just don't work? Useless!!! Take these useless things off and stop wasting people's time.

FAQ

What does the Sound Level app do?

This app provides a simple yet powerful tool to measure the current sound level of your environment. It displays readings calibrated to dBA, which is a weighting that closely matches how the human ear perceives sound. You can also see comparison values to understand what the measured sound is equivalent to.

What are the key features of Sound Level?

Key features include quick sound level measurements, a beautiful and intuitive user interface, tracking of peak and maximum volume counts, and baseline sound comparisons. All results are graphed, allowing you to review past measurements.

Is Sound Level free to use?

The core functionality of the Sound Level app is free. However, it offers 'pro features' which can be unlocked with a one-time in-app purchase. This purchase enables advanced capabilities such as exporting your results as a CSV file.

How accurate are the sound level readings?

The app provides readings calibrated to dBA, which is a standard weighting designed to reflect human hearing sensitivity. While it offers a convenient way to get sound readings, it's important to note that smartphone microphones have limitations and may not be as precise as professional sound level meters.

Who would find this app useful?

This app is ideal for anyone who needs a quick and easy way to measure sound levels. This could include students, researchers, homeowners concerned about noise pollution, or individuals simply curious about the sound environment around them. The graphing feature also makes it useful for tracking sound over time.
