Crummy App
I’ve been trying to create an account for 6 months now. I get the blue line moving across the top and then nothing. The app won’t even open today. Horrible.

Don’t buy the sous vide if you think you’ll use from your smart phone. This app doesn’t work.

IOS app is broken
I’ve tried it on three different devices, the app takes about 5 minutes to return a “bad password” when I know it’s correct as I tested it on the website and copy/paste tends to be correct. I’ve rebooted everything.
Trying to proceed as a “Guest” instead… the app just hangs.
I have a $600 machine that I can’t clear the blinking light off the front panel. I guess I’ll add some duct tape to my brand-new Touch+.

Doesn’t work
The App has worked in weeks. Customer service is useless.
Works OK but ...
I would prefer an an update that does the following:
1. Lists basic set points and actual data on one page.
A. Delay time Set: xxx
B. Set point temp xxx
C. Actual temp xxx
D. Total on time: xxx minutes
E. On / Off
All is visible on one page. You know the set points are correct, what the actuals are. Also, it gives you a delay timer set point vs actual - all in one easy glance.
Also, once you have a program you like you can save it in the app under a name you prefer.

Finally able to login
Was able to log into day!!! Not through google but at least Facebook seemed to have worked ^_^
That being said the app does have a few problems still. Filters are screwy and the app doesn't fit the aspect if the modern iPhone very well.

No login way too much access trying to access
Wanted total and complete access to my gmail account. Had to chamge all passwords. App don’t work. It’s still says loading forever. Useless

I was a kickstarter participant. I have never been able to connect the unit to Bluetooth hence, it has never connected Wi-Fi. The machine has never shown up on any of my bluetooth devices (iPhone 8,7+,7,6 iPad, Mac Book Pro and on and on). I called in December and I received a return call asking me to email the information.
I have done that 3 times and there has been no response. Today I tried to open the app and I cannot log in. I tried to change my password and I cannot do it, because did not receive the recovery email (3 times) from Eades. So I tried to create a new profile. I cannot create a new profile because I get and error saying user name previously used. Believe me I tried a bunch of user names all them received the same error message “user name previously used”.
I have been a long time user of Eades SousVide products. Really terrible to see how this company has evolved.

Lamest app known to mankind
The Sous Vide Supreme I purchased is amazing, customer service is amazing, but the APP is absolute junk. I felt like I was transported back to the days of MS DOS or PC DOS. This app needs some serious work. Joule has an amazing app, it’s pretty lame that I refer to Joule for recipes with time and temperature settings. This review is for the APP not the unit.

Who approved the process to pair your device
This is simply the most difficult device to get connected. The book references that you must link to WiFi first. Secondly you must pair your device via BLE. The app doesn’t reference your WiFi setup after registration and the application never recognizes that your Bluetooth is turned on. I could have kept the old unit instead of getting a newer one with a useless function. Surprisingly the option to purchase a device through the app works just fine. In fact instead of initiating the pairing function when you click on the unit, they instead show you how to purchase and then you have to click to connect. This is poorly implemented and designed.

Extremely buggy, always crashing.
The app is littered with bugs making the touch+ model impossible to use with the app.

Makes dinner a breeze!
I love how easy my SousVide is to use! I can set the temperature from my phone and then it’s ready to go whenever I am. Love the recipes that are being added daily as well.
Highly recommend the product and app. It’s made dinner so seamless and we’re eating a lot healthier. Plus everything comes out so perfectly tender, seasoned and delicious that it’s a no brainer! We’ve even turned down fancy steak dinners to just make them at home. I can’t wait to see what other updates they make and to try some of the new recipes!

The Tech my kitchen (&cooking) NEEDED!!
I have been waiting for this appliance to be upgraded and WOW! I’m so impressed. So is everyone who frequents my kitchen. The meals I’ve made are unparalleled. People think my steaks are the best they have ever had.
THIS IS THE FUTURE OF COOKING!
The app can remotely control the SousVide Touch+ from virtually anywhere. I can place my frozen meat in my oven before leaving for work (with a little ice added to water), turn on my Touch+ while at lunch and come home to a hot meal, ready to sear in my hot skillet and can plate within literal minutes.
This takes all the stress out of my meal planning and weekly meal prep for the family.
I am finally excited about cooking again. I feel even healthier and have more time to spend with my family - that’s what it is all about! Thanks SousVide Supreme for bringing this product and APP to life!

This is amazing! Get the bath water ready when I’m not even home!
This is one of my favorite products ever and it just got better with the addition of the wifi feature.
I can literally set the temp before I leave the office and by the time I get home, the temp is exactly where I need it for my perfectly done steak. I drop in the bags with my seasoned filets, open a bottle of red, hang out with the wife for a few, and by the time we finish a good convo about our days, we are ready to sear the steaks!
Loving the app and all the recipes.
I’m an early adopter and I admit the app isn’t perfect but that’s what comes with being one of the first at using an amazing new technology. It’s only going to get better from now on. Looking forward to my sous vide supreme getting better and better with update to this app.

So far - Fail
I was hoping to use my WIFI to see temps of oven and make changes. So far, if I set a temp it will show the set temp, but if I try to see current water temp it discontinues the heating.
Doesn’t matter if I set the desired temp using the app or the oven.
If I just use the app and go to do anything on my iPhone, the app disconnects and the oven stops heating. So for functionality I’m forced to keep running into the kitchen to check to see if the water is up to temperature.
In other words this app is useless. The new SousVide WIFI is the same as the old SousVide without WiFi.
I waited for years for this new SousVide with WiFi. Big disappointment. Hope they can update.
