Log In Issues
Even when selecting remember me and Face ID, I have to reenter all my log in information every couple days. It gets really frustrating since I keep very complicated passwords. If this was fixed, it would be a 5 star app.
Really poor app
I'm not sure how this app has so many starts. It's pretty awful. Perhaps people are rating the bank itself instead of the app. Yes, Southern Bank is great, but their app is clunky, glitchy, and not at all intuitive. As a customer who lacks a local branch and relies on solely mobile banking, I am extremely disappointed with Southern's app experience. If you are looking for a bank and mobile banking factors into your decision, DO NOT CHOOSE SOUTHERN BANK. There are good banks out there with much better apps. Hopefully Southern will improve their app in the near future.

A step back in time
The personal app was better, even for business. This app no longer displays where or who transactions are executed with. You have to click on each transaction to see what it pertains to, a waste of time as the accounts page could just list both data points. I can’t find Zelle. Not all of my accounts are visible now that I’ve been made to switch to the business app. This app needs more options for moving money in the 21st century!

I'm glad to be a Southern Bank customer for over 30 years. I have always felt comfortable with the great employees. Every financial need ...from my business, to my mortgage to daily issues I have always found the right help for my needs there. Never once been dissatisfied by the way I was treated resolving issues. I love Southern bank and its staff.
