Totally awesome
I love it because I love to cook I like reading about different people how they do their things and I learn a lot about the profiles of food thank you very much.

Horrible app and publisher
This app encourages subscribers to purchase special issues, usually at $10 a pop. I purchased special issues of Cook:Real Food and the version 3 update deleted all of them. The recent version says that it fixes the bug, but it does not. Email to the publisher come back “Not our concern, contact Apple.” Apple will do nothing about purchases older than 90 days, so I’m screwed. Phone calls and messages to their support number go unanswered. Canceling all my subs-I’ll never subscribe to another Hoffman Media app.

No problems with the software so far. And the magazine will have you drooling wit its sumptuous recipes.
Horrible App
If you can somehow get the app to work, the content is beautiful and the magazine itself is amazing. The app? Well I hope whoever developed it gets to spend eternity trying to get it to work for them. It has a worse memory than a senile grandmother as you have to sign in every time and refresh your purchases — which takes forever. Then, if you’re lucky to open up an issue, it will likely crash multiple times as you try and navigate through it. Oh, and forget about downloading new issues when they’re released. It somehow thinks you need to resubscribe again. Save your money and get their recipes for free on the internet. Trust me.

Not user friendly
Cannot sign in. Difficult to navigate. App freezes. You name it. Recipes are decent but not original. Special issues repeat 2/3 of recipes in other issues. Not a good value at all.
Problems
I have had nothing but trouble with this app. I am done with it. Emails back and forth and it works for a week. Then back to all my information lost. I am SO FED UP that I quit!!!
Don’t do it
I couldn’t download my subscription. Kept telling me I needed to buy a subscription even though I already had. Paid and got absolutely nothing.
