Absolutely love Southern Sitters.
Poor customer service
Poor customer service, only 2 unqualified nanny’s were matched; one with sketchy social media posts and the other only able to nanny for 2 months. Southern sitters didn’t hold their end of the bargain by finding qualified sitters and they refused to refund $450. Look elsewhere for nanny services and spend much less for better candidates and kinder customer service. We had a good experience with care.com. If they were that good and confident at what they do, they would refund one disgruntled customer that was not satisfied with the service.

LOVE and highly recommend Southern Sitters
As a caregiver, I absolutely love this app! It’s so convenient for connecting experienced and verified caregivers with parents/guardians and bridging the childcare gap. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who’s looking for childcare or wanting to find some regular babysitting gigs!

Didn’t use the service but…
Login process was not great. It wants you to put payment in before you can even see availability. I’m sure the sitters are great but do not trust giving every app payment information
Asks for cc info before determining if they even service your area
This app asks for your credit card information before determining if they service your area. I entered my information to find out that they do not currently service my area, which is only about 20 miles outside of where they state they are located.
Good service
I’ve only used it once so far- it was my son’s first time to be watched by anyone other than family. I was nervous but Sydney showed up and I was almost immediately at ease. She was polite and my son took to her. I would definitely book her again, and now I trust that anyone else they send will take good care of my son as well.
