Since there was a reset a few months ago nothing works as it should. The app has always been slow and clunky, but now it is useless.

Received an email in early 2026 saying there was going to be an update and everything should be fine. Followed all instructions. After moving apartments and resetting all plugs, redownloading app, resetting network, no plugs are working. Completely bricked. Can’t find any help as all contacts here just redirect to Home Depot site.

Useless app
Its fake. Total scam. Never ever buy this product. They should be sued. I hate it. Cant even explain how frustrated i am. Useless useless useless. Scam scam scam. Money scam
Won’t work anymore
Very dissatisfied with it disconnected from wifi and won’t reconnect tried everything it shows me my wifi name I add password and it just spins and goes back to wifi page. I even reset it.
5 Years Since Last Update
This app needs an update. Does not work properly on new iPhones. Please update this app!

What an incredibly poorly written app. It’s impossible to use this app. After numerous reboots and restarts to try and get a smart plug connected, I had to give up. Home Depot should be ashamed to be associated with this product.

The app does nothing after you connect to the plugs Wi-Fi. Absolutely useless. Throw in the garbage and go buy Govee.

Tried to change to different WiFi device but was unable. Was going to try again after a few months but now the password is lost and don’t get email when reset password option used. Tried to create new account but don’t get welcome email.

I cannot reset my password using the “forget my password”. There is no email send to me to reset the password.

Password reset not working anymore
Been using this plug for 3 years and recently tried to use the timer function. App requires a login every few months. (Why???) and since I forgot my password I have had to do the password reset. The password reset function is not working. It doesn’t send the reset email to my address.
I tried. Opening an account with a different email address and it doesn’t work either! COMMERCIAL ELECTRIC!! FIX YOUR SOFTWARE!!
