INGREDIENTS:
1 cup butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
½ cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
STEP 1. Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
STEP 2. Beat butter, brown sugar, and white sugar in a large bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth, about 2 minutes. Beat in vanilla and eggs, one at a time, until blended.
STEP 3. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; stir into sugar mixture. Finally, fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
STEP 4. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
STEP 5. Bake in the preheated oven until edges are golden, 8 to 10 minutes. Briefly cool on baking sheets, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.

This… hurts
No matter how our, very different minds operate, the system is still trying to accommodate our different learning abilities however, when a system that works is “refined” to help even more, it ends up hurting the very ones it tries to help. This spacesedu app was created to help see a students growth, and yet the very student dreads when a block in school is taken and sacrificed for a reflection, and gathering evidence of learning. If this app was to see the growth, then what are the assignments inside of the very teachers drawers, what are the grades that we slave away for if not evidence? I ask you, why bother doing this when not even the adults can help, since they did something else entirely.

This app RUINED my life. I opened the app to write a reflection about a school paper, and I was suddenly teleported into a white padded room. It was bright. It was quiet. It was eerie. A giant 9 foot tall man suddenly appeared in front of me. He asked me one singular question. “Gay son or thot daughter”. The question hung in my head. My arms start shaking. My legs quivering. My head feels heavy. “Gay son or thot daughter..? Where have I heard this question before..?” I think. My vision begins going black. My ears start ringing. “What do I say..? How do I answer..?” I mumble. I fall to the ground. I can’t hear anything. “Where even am I..?” I think. I finally gain the courage, I finally build the strength to stand up again. I get on my knees, and eventually, on my feet, and I try to run away. I make it two steps before I collapse on my face. “I’m trapped… I have to answer…” I think to myself. I need to think extremely hard. After a long, hard thought process, I think I finally come to an answer to this forbidden question. “G- g- ga…” I can barely talk at this point. I need to use all my strength just to get these words out. “The clock is ticking” the gelephant man says. “G- ga- ga… gay… son…” I mumble under my breath. I did it. I finally answered the impossible question. I can open my eyes again, and I’m back in my room, drenched in sweat. My eyes are red, my hands weak. And that’s when I knew I needed to move countries and start a new life. I’m traumatized. To this day, I still think of that drunken night where I willingly opened the illegal app. 0/10 I would not recommend spacesEDU.
