Almost the best spades game
I almost fell in love with this game but it’s way too many ads literally popping up every few minutes. Other than that I wouldn’t have deleted it.

When opposing team bids nil, for example my last game both members bid nil, The app showed they met their bid taking 2 tricks and scored 120 points to the positive. The hand before that they both bid nil and one had the Ace of spades, they scored 100 points to the positive.

If I’m playing against a Bot, the Bot needs to be trained better. If it’s against another real player, I don’t understand the stupidity of their plays, I.e. everytime that person is the 4 th player to play a card, it seems like 98% of the time, they trump my card which I know will win the handsome no need to trump it higher and waste a good card. For example as nd player I will play an Ace which I know is a solid win, and 4 th player my partner will use a spade to Trump my card. In another example if I play the only spade on that hand which will guarantee the win, said player will always play a higher spade. I understand that when you only have spades left to play and have no choice but the very next hand my partner will play a low spade and we then up losing the book. Sorry but it’s very frustrating.

The partner behavior you described, especially trumping a winning card and overplaying spades when there is no need, is not the experience we want for Spades. AI is not good at this.
The game is okay except the lady you have as a partner will trump you and beat your winning card every single hand. She could discard an unwanted card or something. You’ll have an ace and you’ve beaten the other team, but she just has to play a trump because she can. It is very frustrating. Even if you win you want to yell at her! Very frustrating! They should update it and pretend she has a brain.

Would be a great game if it wasn’t for all the ads. Not one of those games that you can go out of the game and come back in to restart it, forces you to watch ads.

Lags Often
When this app freezes it disables my entire device, and after the last malfunction that prevented me from being able to reset my phone for about three minutes, I had to remove it as soon as I regained access. I’m not sure what causes the app to crash as often as it does nor am I aware of why it restricts any endeavors to restore or reset a device whenever it fails, but I am suspicious.

This is the third app I’ve tried playing Spades. It’s not right; whoever developed the app should’ve consulted with Black people. Your partner is supposed to play with you, not against you. Kings are not meant to be played first; you should be able to read the cards.

This Game Sucks SOOOO BAD!
I literally hate that these game companies use BLACK FACES to advertise these Spades games when I would downright PUNCH MY PARTNER IN THE JAW for some of the cards they play. Blck people who are real card players would NEVER PLAY like this. My “partner” CONSTANTLY cuts me! I play a Spade because I’m cutting hearts… my partner plays a HIGHER Spade… and I think… “He better not have ANYTHING LEFT but Spades, because I already had the book”… but low and behold, he has a 3 of diamonds he could have played! Wasted trump for NOTHING! And I don’t have the option of ‘changing partners’ because the way it’s set up, you get who you get. PLEASE EMPLOY SOME BLACK PEOPLE WHO UNDERSTAND THE PSYCHOLOGY OF SPADES, because it is WAY more cut and dry than just playing a random card! And if you don’t understand the lingo I just used, THAT’S PART OF THE PROBLEM.

The amount of ads forced down your throat by only game 2 is ridiculous. Also your AI teammate screws you over multiple times. Bots almost always 1 up you too. Computerized gaming is becoming worse and worse each month/year rip gaming quality and fairness.

Please fix the game so my partner is not playing against me. I play an ace and he trumps it. That adds an extra level of complexity to bidding that is absolutely unrealistic. If my partner was trumping my aces irl, I’d either train him or drop him.

At times it seems that the partner purposefully play wrong card and opponent bid low. The game may have you lose on purpose.
Horrible game
This has to be the worst spades game ever unless there’s some sort of glitch. 90% of the cards I was throwing I was winning, even though someone else threw a higher card or different suit. If someone throws a certain shoot to start the round, you’re supposed to throw the same suit, but I would win when I’d throw a club on a heart. This isn’t supposed to be how spades is played

Logic needs work
The screen graphics and the player interface worked quite nicely but the logic that drives the avatar gameplay needs a lot of work.
On the very first hand my partner went Nil. The other team led out with the deuce of clubs, and my partner played the ACE of clubs. When I had the lead I lead with clubs just to see what she had and she came back with the five. If she’s going Nil, why in the hell would she play that first ace?
Work on the logic and I will be happy to play this game. Spades is one of my favorite card games, but not with a stupid partner.
