I want to start using this app but it freezes up at location settings….

I wanted to preview the tools available in my local area before I sign up but there’s none to view. Zero! This app has promise of anyone used it.
Only ONE tool available in a large city
(1) In the 10th largest city in the U.S. they have exactly ONE tool available.
(2) You can’t browse without signing up for an acct. (It leads u to believe u can, but it doesn’t show even the one tool that’s actually available.)
(3) Forces u to give permission for camera access to take pictures of your tools, even if want to just rent from others.
(4) Can’t browse inventory on website, forced to download the app.

This is a pure scam App! Never ever use this App in your life time!
This App is a professional scam App, when you apply your personal account, it’ll request you fill a form with 100% of your private information including your SSN, your address, your name, all your bank account information including card number & CVV number, I did it then I found out after I uploaded all my personal information & the tools pictures & price I want to rent, I won’t even able to find my tools pictures at all! This is a pure scam App! Don’t use it at all in your life time! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

We are still gathering users on the tool owner side, right now it's spread across the entire US. Sorry for the issues. Hoping we can get more users soon. We are 100% bootstrapped so resources are a bit tight.
Not giving my debit card to unknown app
Setup is crap. They require last 4 of social and debit card info including secret code and birth date(?) that it won’t let you enter. Very suspect. They could at least let you preview tools available in your area. Not willing to take the chance. Cool concept though. Get it right and I will use it.

Decent concept but completely missing yard tools
I was excited to find this app until I realized that there are no garden or yard tools at all. (Aerators, tillers, mowers etc) On top of that, you would think there would be an immediate search box when you first logon as I’m assuming most people download this app when they have a need to find some thing. The search isn’t user friendly.

Phone number does not work
Can’t get past 2FA using phone number. Does not recognize phone number. Is it looking for space in between?
Not sure where the positive reviews came from
All the positive reviews are from 2 years ago and highly suspect. At most there’s like 20 tools available. App interface is nice, but not super useful without tools.
Good idea, no users
Great app idea, but terrible execution as there are no users, even within major cities.

Cool idea but I can’t seem to get it to search
I dig the concept and the app is easy to navigate and set up however I can’t seem to search for tools unless there truly isn’t anyone using this app within a 500 mile radius. There website seems to be down as well.

Hey sorry about that - there was some issues with the site. We are back now. In terms of the tool search, where are you located? There might not be that many people around you with tools.

SO NEEDED
I can’t believe it took this long for a P2P tool rental app to make it out. It’s just so practical! I move around a lot so I try to keep things pretty minimalistic—which means very few tools. Who wants to drag a giant ladder or heavy drill around from one state to the next?! Being able to rent it is so much more convenient...and I love that, like Airbnb, it gives people another way to earn money from stuff they already own.

Sparetoolz is an easy to navigate convenient app for tool rental! Sparetoolz has been a lifesaver for me because I don’t own a lot of tools but I do occasionally need them. This app has saved me a ton of time and money because I no longer need to run to Home Depot for a drill, I just rent one from someone nearby! Think of sparetoolz as Airbnb for tools!
