Can’t read messages if you can’t scroll
I’ve been a Spark user for many years but it is becoming unusable on iPhone. I regularly experience an email I open “acting stuck” - it won’t let me scroll beyond the opening image. So frustrating. Also, please take AI out of everything forever unless someone specifically asks for it. Ridiculous to force these “features” no one asked for in all your users.

Infuriating automation. Not a serious app.
It makes videos much bigger when it prepares them to be attached to an email, then tells you they're too big to send and to upgrade to use Spark Cloud.
First, don't change my videos.
Second, both my provider and the recipient's allow attachments up to 50MB, and that's pretty standard, so why is this app putting a lower limit on?
iOS Mail has mandatory compression (again, why?) but at least I can send something, even if it's degraded. This is just a blocker to getting anything done. Joke of an email app.

Updated Microsoft account connection breaks Spark Classic
Without warning, or an option to decline, Spark updates your MS account with a new connection protocol which breaks MS account support in Spark Classic. Readdle has no intention of updating Spark Classic to support this new protocol (I asked…), and there is no way to have the IOS/iPadOS version of Spark not use this new protocol. So the options are to stop using Spark on my iPhone and iPad, or stop using it on my Mac (the “new” Spark Desktop version is still terrible, so that’s a non-starter).
I love Spark, so I’m pretty upset by this situation and by Readdle’s response that Classic won’t get updated.
I don’t want to look for a new email program, but this update is forcing me to do so.

Broke app emails marked as spam don’t goto spam
I have marked as spam hundreds of emails and it doesn’t matter because it isn’t sending new email from exact same sender to spam!!
Can not block a sender who keeps spamming me and can’t report spam without paying

Fed up trying to add Outlook addresses
The app itself looks very good but no matter how many times I try I’m unable to add an Outlook email address. This became very frustrating and left me with no option but to delete Spark which was a shame. Also too many emails from ‘Alex’ but I dare say that this could have been limited I’d I’d stuck with the app.

every time I open an email, after a few seconds I cannot scroll
This is a new bug. I’ve used spark for over 7 years now it feels like - but every time I open an email it will scroll, and then it scrolls to the top and freezes and I cannot scroll the email anymore until I go back to the inbox and click the email again. Every time. it’s so unusable
removing email accounts
all of a sudden your app is removing my Microsoft email accounts on and stating that I should upgrade to your other desktop app because it does not support the ms login method anymore. This is a very sneaky way to get us to use your other app. you should support the logins that you have already supported and you should support legacy logins I’m disgusted by your company

Goodbye Spark!
I used Spark for many years! Unfortunately, the app became useless after the latest update and I can’t get an approval from the IT regarding the “new” login request for Outlook Exchange. I cancelled my subscription. Now back to the Apple Mail App which also promises many good things for iOS 27. Thank you Spark, you served me well 😭😭😭

Goodbye, Spark
I've been using Spark for years, and today I finally said goodbye. I don't need AI in my email, and I'm not prepared for the fact that the old, wonderful version suddenly stopped supporting Microsoft Mail.

This is a fine app - I use all of Readdle’s apps in my business. And when I have experienced issues the support team is always quick to respond. They are most helpful and kind. Thank you.
Sudden ridiculous flaws
Longtime user of Spark. I have used it since way before they started incorporating this AI junk. Apparently they started to use it to vibe code updates now, too, because suddenly there’s issues with an email not displaying its full length unless I rotate the iPad, or some emails won’t scroll, or the app just refuses to update email.

Microsoft Integration 😖
Usually good, but the recent Microsoft integration ‘upgrade’ messed up my accounts.
Authenticate with a webview, where a one time code is sent to another email address, which I cannot access, because of said webview.
So no option but to remove the account, because it’s a blocking element.

This has been my go to email app for years, and slowly, but surely all the basic features are becoming paid only... like now I have to pay $200 a year in order to be able to attach video files to an email? No way.

I don’t know if you just decided to make the non payment users suffer to try and get them to buy your silly over priced email service or what but I used to love this app and would tell others to get this app. Now not so much. Not only does it lock up continuously and I have to go out of emails and back in. But the amount of things you used to be able to do for free is now all in paid features. So done with all the subscription based nonsense. I’ve bought so many apps just to be “grandfathered in” and stuff taken away due to subscription based nonsense! I’m done! Later! I’m going back to OG mail app which is by the way better now than yours. ✌️

Love Spark
I love Spark Mail and use it on my iPhone and it works very well. Last year I moved my 3 computers over to Linux Mint as I was not happy with the direction Microsoft were taking Windows. Unfortunately Spark is not available on Linux operating systems yet! I have encouraged the team at Spark to make it available for all Linux users as a lot of people are switching over. It would be a great opportunity to increase the company’s footprint. Keep up the good work.

Good app but scrolling bug is making me consider switching
I’ve been using spark for years and have enjoyed it but recently a bug has been introduced which means longer emails get frozen at the top and you can’t scroll don’t. It’s really annoying as the only workaround is to go to another message then return to the email you were originally trying to read
