What's New in Sparkline

1.0.3

October 6, 2026

Your start date, your streak. • Set when a habit really began — the day you installed the app is rarely the day you started. Pick any date in New Habit or Edit Habit. • Kept it up since? One switch marks the days in between as done, so your streak opens where it really is. • Filling in a calendar day before the start moves the start back to match.

Dates

Stop forcing start dates. Just because I downloaded the app today doesn't mean that's when I started a habit. Ridiculous to not have an option to change it.

Response from developer

You are right, and thank you for saying it plainly. A habit you’ve kept for months shouldn’t start over at zero just because the app is new. Sparkline 1.0.3, out now, adds a Started date to every habit. You can set it when you create a habit, or change it later under Edit Habit, going back up to 10 years. If you turn on “Kept it up since”, the days between that date and now count as done, so your streak and stats show what you’ve actually kept up. If anything else gets in your way, I’d like to hear about it.
