This app simplifies learning Italian and teaches by listening but also the spelling. Worth the money. I have tried many but this one has helped learn more.

This is a really useful little app. Writing and visuals are really clear. The Jewel speed payback is a really useful facility. The categorization of words and phrases helps to locate one’s thinking prior to attempting reading writing speaking Italian. I would certainly recommend it for a beginner such as I.

Can’t trust it
I was hoping this travel phrasebook would be more reliable than an online translator but the first time I used it in Italy, the Italian waiter was confused and I showed him the sentence written in the app— then told me the correct way to say it. So now I don’t feel confident using the app.
