I experimented with the other Speaker Angle app this company produces and found it useful at first. But it was inconsistent (see review). I tried this but it soon became apparent this is for active speakers which have their own immediate audio connections direct to them. Active speakers have their own amplification so the connections are on them but passive ones (like mine) just have the terminals. So unless you own the former type this really isn't for you. To be fair there is some convoluted process where you can use a Y connector direct to the amp which I haven't got the time or patience to try. Just beware. If you have active speakers it may be worthy of inspection but if you don't I wouldn't bother. Didn't try the surround sound set up so can't comment on that.
