FAQ
What is Spectral Hold?
Spectral Hold is an audio effect that analyzes sound in real-time. It allows you to apply a frequency-domain tilt EQ and a spectral freeze, turning any audio moment into a sustained drone.
How does the tilt EQ work in Spectral Hold?
The tilt EQ adjusts the gain of frequency bins around a pivot frequency. Negative values attenuate highs and boost lows, while positive values do the opposite, affecting the sound's brightness.
Can I shape the frozen sound in Spectral Hold?
Yes, while the spectral frame is frozen, you can still adjust the tilt and pivot controls to further shape the sustained drone.
What is the latency of Spectral Hold?
Spectral Hold reports a latency of one FFT frame (1024 samples, approximately 21 ms at 48 kHz) to the host for accurate delay compensation.
What devices is Spectral Hold compatible with?
Spectral Hold is available for iPhone and iPad, supporting iOS devices.
How much does Spectral Hold cost?
