What is wrong with this app?? It won’t play anything! This is the 2nd time in less than a month that I’ve experienced this. I have done system restarts, delete and reinstalls, but still nothing.
Spectrum app is horrible
The spectrum app is horrible. Spectrum has 1000 channels but because it’s an app carried on another platform all of the remotes have no numbers. So if you have 1000 channels, but your customer is unable to put in the direct number and go directly to that channel. It is a huge waste of time. Your love scrolling up or down until you get the number 200 or number 1350 that’s a stupid idea. On top of that the app itself is constantly freezing constantly messing up. It’s super frustrating if you’re watching a show and the show is stuttering. Netflix doesn’t do this, HULU doesn’t do this, HBO doesn’t do this, Apple TV doesn’t have this problem only spectrum

They’re Still Charter
Weak signal, keeps freezing and/or breaking up. Is too frequently unwatchable. I’m paying for this, but I’m not always getting it. Fix the issue, or refund me my money.
Blocked Stations when using ATT Fiber Internet
Recently, I changed my Internet provider to AT&T fiber. I wanted to run my Spectrum TV on AT&T fiber but I’m noticing half the channels are blocked out. I believe it thinks I’m not home. If Spectrum wants to be considered open, they should run seamlessly on any Internet provider. I was told by Spectrum Support that I need to be on Spectrum Internet. That’s not gonna happen and I’m looking at another TV streaming solution.

Glitchy app
It seems every time I open the app it just glitches. It’s clearly not the internet as I have spectrum internet as well. It’s fine on the phone or iPad but when you begin to send it to a TV in your home since they want you to pay for their devices the app doesn’t hold up. It is frustrating.
Unfortunately I have spectrum to get sports
Latest couple of IOS IPad versions impossible to use the tv guide to setup dvr manual recording.. Depending where you touch guide keeps reset to current date and time. Try to manually set recording for 8 pm sportscenter for example takes 30 minutes due o constant refresh to current - didn’t use to work this way. Used to keep date and time making it less of a pain to set another recording. Search is so stupid and incomplete not able to work around using it. End up having to use android version on phone.

Unable to Use Internet Protections
Sadly, Spectrum TV requires an iPhone user to disable internet protections when using their App. It doesn’t make sense to require a user to become vulnerable to internet hacks to use Spectrum TV.

Love the fact I can watch tv on the go. Wish I could see channels 2-34 however.
Buggy update
Installed this update today and now the app will not open nor accept my User name and password. I hate it when this happens!
Fix your security issues
Twice now you have billed me for spectrum TV when this app was accidentally downloaded when trying to download the spectrum internet app. Instead of verifying I wanted spectrum tv you billed for the service and didn’t notify me it was done. This is twice now which tells me if anyone downloads the app simply to look at it they will be billed for the service if they already have a subscription in internet or mobile. How is this legal? You don’t text or call people to verify they want it knowing how easy it is to add the service by mistake. A baby could add it since spectrum doesn’t require a verification code.

The app is showing an error message and I can’t find how to fix it so the app is useless for now. **Turn off proxy server then restart app.**

Keeps freezing and locking up
I have iPad 9 and iOS 26.5, but this is brutal. It locks up and freezes constantly. Others are complaining but you do not fix. I am video taping performance on phone and sending video to your management directly because you are taking payment to do a job but not doing it. That “please contact us on xyz for further assistance” is outrageous. You would not tolerate such behavior from a service you paid for, nor should you, nor will I.
