This app is extremely invasive!!! Look at all the personal information this app steals from our phone!! Look how the app follows you EVEN if you turn off tracking!! INVASIVE!!! I delete the app!
Works great except when is doesn’t.
Great app and it usually works great and pulls through with high quality streaming but when it wants to act up it will. I’m still giving it 5 stars but just know there are more good time than bad with the app. The bad are mostly due to service issues with the phone not the app. Never glitchy. I’m still not the happiest I can be with Spectrum TV but it’s the only choice we have in WNC and over all I think there are more wins than failures. The internet on the other hand can use alot of work. I have business and residential and both are trash but this is about Spectrum TV so that’s why it got 5 stars.

Crashes every time I try to open
Every time I try to open the app it crashes. And then try to open it again and it opens. Completely annoying to have to open it twice started happening after the latest update.

Crashes or buffers constantly. For how much we pay it’s unreal how much we have to put up with. Both the phone app and tv app are equally garbage.
Re: Out in of town usage. It is great to have Spectrum ‘on the go’! Problem is, some don’t work!

Horrible update
With the latest update the channel line up is extremely difficult to navigate. In previous versions of the app the channel lineup mirrored the set up of the cable box. Now the channels lineup is in alphabetical order. I haven’t been able to locate my local networks with this new design. The design reminds me of YouTube tv but at least with YouTube the local networks were easily identifiable.

I love spectrum cuz I used to have Verizon but it login me out and for a very long time I miss tv and I could ONLY watch ONE channel SOOOOOOOOOO boring, so now I LOVE spectrum so much spectrum is so much better than Verizon

I would love to give this all the stars it deserves, however it barely works. In the last 4-5 months I’ve seen this app go downhill. It’s inconsistent, a lot of times just the spinning wheel, goes from HD to below standard definition. Try watching a sporting event when all you see is blur. The DVR portion, usually was great. Now I get every error code at least daily. Also they say that their app works with LG tv’s smart function, it doesn’t and isn’t available so you must use a secondary thing to connect like Apple TV. Get it fixed. If you call about this,it’s no help, as their best recommendation is to uninstall and reinstall the app. How many times in a month do I need to do this? As I write this I’m trying to watch the news and it’s just a blur. The audio is great. But I’m trying to “watch” tv.
