Keeps freezing and locking up
I have iPad 9 and iOS 26.5, but this is brutal. It locks up and freezes constantly. Others are complaining but you do not fix. I am video taping performance on phone and sending video to your management directly because you are taking payment to do a job but not doing it. That “please contact us on xyz for further assistance” is outrageous. You would not tolerate such behavior from a service you paid for, nor should you, nor will I.

My opinion
With the cost of Spectrum TV and Internet package I have costing $250 a month. You should be able to get your full channel lineup when not on your home Wi-Fi it’s not even your data present on my mobile device but yet you limit your customers channel line up !!!

I try to listen to the morning sports show in the morning when walking my dog and driving to work, and as soon as I step out of WiFi, it BUFFERS! Then says fails to load!!! “Channel unavailable”! I had to pay $80 for a Sirius XM subscription for their app just so I can listen when walking my dog and driving to work! I’m beyond upset!!!

Not working. Just upgraded. It’s not receiving any video. It freezes and won’t scroll. It seems to be loading a lot of ads for FIFA viewing, and once they load, it will scroll, but even then it’s not smooth. And the video on any channel never comes on.
After a couple more days I decided to reboot my modem. Don’t know if Spectrum repaired its glitches, or if it was the modem, but the app works wonderfully. Comes up fully, and quickly. No glitches. Absolutely no complaints!

So far behind the competition
This app is miserable to use when compared to YouTube Tv, HBO Max, Peacock, Hulu, Disney +, ESPN, or even Tubi. Slow load times. Constantly glitches and pauses itself or closes the video stream. No play/pause button when in the app. App starts content muted if your phone is on silent, even if you have headphones in. Temporarily shows channels as “unavailable” and asks you to contact spectrum if there’s a two-second network issue. Even how they deal with too many devices streaming at once is ridiculous compared to YouTube Tv— forces someone who is already watching to get kicked off instead of not allowing the new person to hop on. Just an all around horrible app experience when compared to the competition. It feels like using windows 98 to watch videos when everyone else is using a Mac from 2026.

Would give a zero if possible. Gives 0 channels while I’m away. Confusing lay out. Terrible quality, makes everything 100x more difficult than it needs to be. I am 100% convinced they botted their reviews up to 4.5 stars.

This app is great if you love having to continuously sign in when the app crashes constantly. Three times today in the last half hour.
