User reviews

The keyboard is in a weird place

I don’t understand why they don’t put the keyboard in the normal place for a phone keyboard. It should be laid out the same as the users phone, so it’s easy for them to type out responses. Because the keyboard is laid out slightly differently and is a lot higher up on the screen, it makes it a lot harder to use, creating frequent spelling mistakes. An app that is meant to take the frustration of not being able to talk away, actually gives the user more frustration. If they just had a normal keyboard that matched the rest of the phone, the app would be really good, and I would have paid for the premium version. Quite disappointed

Response from developer

Thank you for this honest feedback, and sorry the keyboard made typing harder. You’re right. Our keyboard is designed so it can also be used with head tracking, but people who type with their fingers should be able to use the keyboard they already know. In the next update, the Keyboard tab gets a switch key in the bottom-left corner. One tap changes it to your iPhone’s own keyboard, with the same layout, autocorrect, swipe typing and dictation as the rest of your phone. Speak, Share and our word suggestions stay right above it, and the app remembers your choice. We’re also moving our own keyboard down to the bottom of the screen, where you’d expect it. If you have any other suggestions, we’d love to hear them. Settings ▸ Contact Support reaches us directly.
