Core communication is free and works without an account or an internet connection: communication boards with 22 categories, a keyboard with word prediction, saved phrases, device voices and cached speech, on-device AI, visual schedules, therapeutic games and emergency communication. No ads. No data harvesting. Your child's voice never depends on WiFi. PRISM AAC CLOUD — optional subscription US$4.99 per month adds a monthly allowance of 50,000 newly generated natural-voice speech characters and 100 cloud AI requests. Cached playback and device voices never use the allowance. The allowance resets on the first day of each month (00:00 UTC), and there are no overage charges. The same subscription works on iOS and on the web with one account. Boards, saved phrases, cached speech, device voices, on-device AI and emergency communication stay available without a subscription and after one ends. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically each month unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and it can be managed or cancelled in your Apple Account settings after purchase.
