They are misleading . They have charged 14.95 monthly for four months after we canceled the subscription in our kid account , I have requested refund 3 times and apple denied it. SHAME!!!
A Free Trial I Can’t Even Use. Absolutely Shameful.
I downloaded Speech Blubs yesterday and signed up for a 2-day free trial. Before subscribing, I was explicitly told my trial would end on the 21st.
Yet less than 24 hours later, I’m being presented with a 50% off subscription offer that I cannot find a way to decline.
I REFUSE to accept this offer. But now I can’t even use the app I downloaded to try in the first place!
My free trial has NOT expired. I was told it ends on the 21st. So why am I being blocked from using the app before that date?
I have barely had 24 hours to experience this product, and instead of allowing me to explore it, the app is pushing me toward a paid subscription. My card details are already on file, which makes this experience even more uncomfortable. The offer also took me away from the App Store.
This is not what I understood a free trial to be. A free trial should give customers the opportunity to experience the product and decide whether it is worth paying for. It should not mean being locked out of the experience before the advertised trial period is over.
Offering me 50% off before I’ve even had a reasonable chance to try the app is not an incentive. It’s an interruption that has completely undermined my confidence in the company.
I do not want the discount. I want access to the free trial I was promised.
The fact that I cannot find a way to decline this offer and continue using the app is absolutely unacceptable.
This has turned what should have been a straightforward trial into a frustrating and deeply disappointing experience. I downloaded Speech Blubs in good faith, and this is how my first experience has gone.
Horrible user experience. Aggressive subscription tactics. A complete lack of respect for the customer’s ability to make their own decision.
Speech Blubs, restore access to my trial until the advertised end date of the 21st. I should not have to pay to use a trial that has not expired.
