Misleading “Free Trial” — Charged Before Trial Ended
I downloaded this app because it explicitly prompted me to “activate a free 3-day trial” before allowing access. The app would not let me proceed unless I accepted what was clearly presented as a free trial. I activated it on January 3rd around 11:30 PM and canceled immediately afterward, as I routinely do with trial apps.
Despite this, I was charged $9.99 on January 5th less than two full days later before the advertised 3-day trial period could have ended.
Apple Support now claims there is “no record of a free trial” and that I “signed up for a subscription,” which directly contradicts what the app itself presented on screen. This is extremely concerning, especially for a children’s speech therapy app marketed to parents.
If an app advertises a free trial but charges users before that trial is complete, that is misleading at best and deceptive at worst. Parents should be very cautious. I would not recommend this app unless the billing and trial terms are made transparent and honored as advertised.

Just paid 9.99 for the 1st monthly subscription. The app froze on my daughter and the connection won’t come back in. I deleted the app, checked her VPN settings, and still nothing!!! I’m very disappointed 😩
Absolute Frechheit
