About
Turn your voice into clean, structured Markdown — entirely on your iPhone or iPad, with zero setup and zero cloud.
Speech-to-Markdown listens as you talk and turns your rambling into a well-organized document in real time. Speech-to-text runs on Apple's on-device SpeechAnalyzer; formatting is handled by Apple's on-device Foundation Models. No servers, no API keys, no sign-in — it even works in airplane mode.
HOW IT WORKS
Just start a session and talk. As you speak, your words stream into a live document that gets restructured on the fly — headings, lists, and paragraphs appear as you go. Pause, resume, or start a new session anytime; everything is saved automatically and stays on your device.
THREE WAYS TO USE YOUR VOICE
• Format — free-form dictation. Ramble, and the whole document keeps getting reorganized as you add more.
• Edit — turn your voice into an instruction. Select some text, then say "turn this into a bulleted list" or "rewrite the intro" and only that part changes.
• Append — a fast mode for long documents. Only your new words get formatted and added to the end, so sessions stay quick no matter how long the document grows.
THREE OUTPUT FORMATS
Choose Markdown, plain text, or HTML — pick per session, switch anytime.
BUILT FOR PRIVACY
Everything happens on-device. There's no account to create, no analytics, no ads, and nothing is ever uploaded anywhere. Your recordings and documents live in the app's local storage and are visible in the Files app, under your control.
SESSION HISTORY
Every session is saved automatically. Reopen any past session to keep talking, edit the document, or export it — your raw transcript is always one tap away from the formatted result.
GREAT FOR
Meeting notes, journaling, blog and spec drafts, to-do lists, brainstorms, voice memos you actually want to read later — anywhere you'd rather talk than type.
REQUIREMENTS
iOS 26 or later on an Apple Intelligence–capable device: iPhone 15 Pro or newer, or an Apple Silicon iPad, with Apple Intelligence enabled in Settings.
