What happened
I used to be able to control my lights but the app logged me off and now I can’t sign in because it doesn’t recognize my email. What’s the fix?
Do not get
Got Spektrum recommended by electrician but app is unusable and remote doesn’t work right. Totally glitchy and archaic compared to hue in the rest of the house.
One of the worst lighting apps
It works about half the time to turn on my led lights. It’s not intuitive at all. Needs a total redesign!!!
App glitchy and tech support unreachable
Have 3 strips in my ceiling and can’t figure out how to sync them to get the same color using my app. Comes with a remote but the app doesn’t see it for setup. I would not recommend this lighting system!
I ended up giving up.
I ended up giving up on this after many intermittent problems over a year. I bought a Phillips Hue Bridge and it is SO MUCH better. Wish I would have started with that first. Would have saved me a lot of time and money. This American Lighting needs a lot of developer love
It controls my lights do that is good. I have RGB+TW so there is a color wheel picker and then 3 bars. I've figure out that the bottom bar is for dimness. But I'm really not sure what the two upper bars do. So a better help menu would be appreciated. Also, it'd be nice if I could type in an RGB color directly and type in a percentage for dimness directly and save that instead of having to fiddle with the color wheel.
