I love this app
My daughter has dyslexia and ADHD and so it’s hard for her to just spell it out so thank you spell it. I hope more kids like my daughter can learn how to handle their ADHD in dyslexia. And she’s in fourth grade so this helps a lot with all her spelling words so thank you for creating this app.

I would love to give this app 5 stars, but I won’t due to miss-pronunciation and the lack of spellcheck.
The app miss-pronounces words with a robotic tone. Test the word “anecdotally,” and you’ll hear a pronunciation that fails to sound recognizable. This crucial flaw may be relying on old speech-to-text technology, please upgrade it.
On iPhone, when typing a word incorrectly, misspelled words are underlined red. When typing words into this app, misspelled words do not get underlined red, leading to learning incorrect spelling. This is a major issue.
Please allow autocorrect and spellcheck when adding words, but disable it when being quizzed.
Keep in mind, this app should continue to run offline as it currently does.
I will edit my review once these features are addressed. Thank you for the work thus far. I hope to see improvements.

On the word search it glitches so lets say you find the word affirmation I would cross it and move to the next word and when i tap it it disappears usually you have to cross it a million times but still a great learning app especially for summer

I think the spelling of is really bad! I was surprised with how bad the service was… This spelling app is like, I don’t even know how to explain! It’s just horrible. I would not recommend using it only if your mom forces you to the only reason I’m using this! Otherwise, I would just delete it.

I rarely let my kiddo use technology, but yesterday we decided to break up the monotony of the spelling list. We downloaded this app & kiddo entered his list. He chose “word scramble”. The very first word provided… “niggre”. Kiddo locks eyes on me and asks “why would this have a swear word?” Doing my best to process rapidly, I double checked his list to see if there was an error… nope his word was “ginger” spelled correctly. Our spelling lesson turned into an advocacy lesson as I showed him how to contact the developer or support… we entered in all the info and screenshots… only to receive “oops something went wrong”. No matter what we tried to change, we were unable to submit. So… public comment has become our only avenue for a hopeful change… this is either lazy or nefarious coding… either way even a 10 yr old knows it’s unacceptable…

It is good, but you need to put more activity’s because I got bored from it, but I do like that you can put your spelling words in your spelling list. I just also think the scrambled ones are really hard and yeah, you should put some more activities or some music. Just something to make it funner so people can actually want to do it, but I also love the icon of the app. that’s why I give it three stars.
