What's New in SpendFlex
2.2.5
September 28, 2026
New • Account balances (optional): set a dated closing balance per account, see totals by currency and record transfers between accounts that never count as income, spending or budget. • Custom recurring: repeat entries every chosen number of days, weeks or months, with a first charge date, a preview of upcoming dates and an end date or total number of payments — also from Add transaction. • A grouped notice on Home when SpendFlex records recurring entries for you. • Save as new: edit a transaction and save it as a new one without touching the original. • Optional period balance on Home and an eye button to hide or show amounts. • CSV import: review the columns and destination account before importing, with expense and income totals in the preview. • Recommend SpendFlex from Settings. Improvements • CSV import reads CSVs saved from Excel on Windows, dates with times, dd-mm-yyyy and 2-digit years, amounts like 1.250.000 or with a trailing minus, and handles “Fecha valor” and Debit/Credit type columns correctly. • Receipt photos are now stored outside the system cache, so iOS can no longer clear them. • Search ignores accents and also finds entries by category and amount. • Weekly and every-2-weeks budgets: texts say “cycle”, alerts fire every cycle and past cycles stay as they were when you edit the budget. • Deleting a category moves its entries, recurring templates and merchant rules to “Other”. • VoiceOver reads “Amounts hidden” in Discreet mode, and the CSV column selectors are labeled. Fixes • Traveling to another time zone no longer duplicates recurring charges or moves entries to another day. • The lock now covers every open screen and the app switcher, links wait until you unlock, and cancelling Face ID keeps SpendFlex locked. • With two accounts, transfers now work in both directions (Swap accounts button). • Remaining payments and early partial payoffs are counted correctly. • Restoring a backup keeps your language, and “Last confirmed backup” only counts copies that were really saved. • Restore purchases now tells you when your purchases couldn't be checked, instead of saying you don't have Premium. • If your data can't be read, SpendFlex says so and lets you retry instead of looking empty. • Plus fixes to filters, undo, Quick add and double taps when saving.
