No product support
I’ve now wasted 30 dollars on an Apple USB Camera Connection Kit adapter. Connected to the amp and no device is connected (but it is) tried plugging and unplugging amp and adapter, starting the app and amp and connecting in different orders, still nothing. I even uninstalled the app and reinstalled it logged out signed back in and uninstalled the app again. I check the forums and the only thing it says is the equipment needed to connect to the amp. The amp itself is a spider V20 markii, and my phone is an iPhone SE. My phone is updated to a recent enough update for the amp. And I NEED the app to adjust the amp because right now it’s just a squealing, scratchy mess and tuning with just the amp is not enough. I wish I could find YouTube tutorial or some advice but all the videos are with amps that have a usb port. Mine is the only one without it since the geniuses that designed this amp decided that a usb port would make too much sense. So I’m stuck with an aux port. I realize how old this app is and the amp itself but if anyone has the same issue, I have not found a solution and you are better off to sell the amp and buy one with product support. If you do have a solution or a tutorial please let me know.

UPDATE YOUR FREAKING APP!!!
I can’t use the countless amounts of BRAND NEW cords to run from my phone to the amp, the app won’t even load if I have my adapter plugged into my phone, but once I unplug it and plug it back it it loads then blacks out then kicks me off the app.
Useless 90% of the time.
This app is abysmal. Honestly if it didn’t log me out every single time I close the app or fail to load anything in the cloud 75% of the time I would love it. The ability and idea is awesome. The execution is horrid. Fix the app here as well as the downloadable software. IT DOES THE SAME THING. Fix your app LINE6.

Die App tut was sie soll, auch bei neueren IPhone Modellen! Ihr braucht dazu einfach ein Daten USB Kabel, kein simples zum aufladen! Hab es ausprobiert und siehe da, Verbindung problemlos möglich. Aber gleich rummotzen…😏
Look for the switch behind the amp
I thought the app was defective at first but after flipping theswitch on the amp it works great on my iPad and Mac great product.
It's ok
I love my amp but the app is just a little outdated and a little hard to use. It works great after you learn how to use it, but it's not very beginner friendly.
Update
The app overall is great, easy to edit tones and to look up tones, but every time re open the app it logs me out, causing me to lose every tone i downloaded, i try to sign in and it wont let me, when i try to change the password it sends me to a not available website.
so yeah, might want to fix that to make the app usable.

It's okay
Issue is it's an incredibly tedious process to get the app to even recognize it is connected to the amp. So whats the point if it doesn't work almost 85-90% of the time? Disappointed in this overall, when it works it's cool but it probably won't. Don't waste your hard earned money, look elsewhere for a more practical and reliable system set up.

Having trouble signing in?
Delete the app and restore it with new. Ask for reset of password, after reset it should work. It did for me. App is very useful and very applicable for my iPad and SpiderV240 amp. Love it, very useful.
Amazing App
Not sure about all the hate this app is getting. I’m new to this app but so far it’s pretty easy to use and it’s super cool. There’s a lot of customization to finding awesome tones. Also you can upload and check out other people’s tones too. It’s pretty sick!
Great for what it does, could do more
It’s amazing technology, maybe I appreciate it more because when I was younger this would’ve seemed like science fiction. Having all these effects in the app, creating presets, using the excellent presets that come with the app to as well as downloading presets from the Internet, it’s amazing functionality.
But I wish it had a bit more functionality like the things you can access from the itself, like the metronome or the tuner, because I don’t play writing in front of a app and I have to get up every time I want to use the tuner.
And it has one bug, which is that if you switch to another app in your iPad, and then go back to this app, it’s frozen and there’s no way to bring it back other than killing it and then open it again. Not a huge deal, but still it’s a bog and hopefully they will address it.
