There was an accurate research app called SpiroSmart, sadly it seems to have been removed from the app store. (I wonder if the installer is still available.)

Great Device - App Needs Work

I got this device as part of my health monitoring tech. I don’t have lung condition but wanted to track my lung health along with the other data I’m capturing as part of a fitness program.

Registering was easy and I had the device up and running in a matter of minutes. However the app crashed after the first set of measurements and there is no automatic export to Apple health - this is fundamental for me.

Restarting the app got things going again and the data gleamed was very enlightening. I’m hoping that future updates resolve these initial problems.

Overall the device is well built, easy to use, and will help those with and without lung conditions to achieve their health goals.

The app keeps crashing when I click “Test” or “Pair a Device” which means the Spirometer becomes redundant!
