I am using this app around 9 years it is very useful
Too Laggy. Not worth the purchase
Too slow and complicated. Definite not a good fit for iPad to Mac
Cannot connect to pc using older iPad.
I think there’s been an update (downdate?). It works fine with my gen9 iPad and android phone. But for my older iPad it connects and immediately disconnects. Three stars because I can still connect using my pc IP address (until it changes).
Good for a free temporary wireless monitor replacement
I got this app after I broke the screen on my laptop, and it is free, easy to use, and works for when I need to use my laptop on the go. It is a little laggy, though (at least the free version is), so I wouldn’t recommend this as a permanent fix unless you have some patience.
Not working anymore
This worked a couple of years ago but now it doesn’t. May be because my iMac is getting old.- 10.15. But nowhere in the App Store does it say it’s limited.

I almost don’t want to leave a review because others might catch on to this. I do use Zoom for meetings and have used Team viewer in the past. Splashtop Personal has indeed helped me so much access my devices remotely and I’ve used it for over a couple of years now. My primary use is mostly from Pc to Pc because from Mobile to PC the controls are hard to handle, that’s only on emergency to view things. The price is ridiculously affordable, nothing comparable to Zoom or Teamviewer. The only one review I saw says “duped into buying a new subscription on purpose”…personally, if they offered a 5 year subscription where I can lock in the $17 a year price, I’d get it in a heart beat. Offer me a discount and I’d go for the 10 year! Hint hint ;)

screen freezes every 10~40 minutes
I reinstslled streamer, replaced ipad with newest one, updated its OS, waited for maintanence, still no fix. when screen freezes only sound plays on still image so I have to close the app and restart

Finally, I can stop checking out remote desktop apps!
This one is the only one I need. It does a better job than the others at getting around my firewalls and routers and at a fraction of the cost of some apps. I love this and it’s worth every penny!!!

It works very well most of the time
I use the free version at home. This is very helpful at home when I want to compare things on two machines in separate rooms, etc. But occasionally the service on the remote machine stops running and then the connection fails. The message that comes up implies that you need to upgrade to the business version. The actual solution is to go to the remote machine and restart the splashtop service.

IPAD accessing Win 10 PC at work.
The keyboard does not fully work no matter what Splashtop Keyboard setting I use. Some of the issues when Apple Keyboard setting is used: Alt-Tab only toggles between last 2 screens, keyboard gets stuck in upper case at time, keyboard gives weird characters such as putting a CTL-Chararcter (^) before a keystroke, and actions like a tap on a push button give spurious results. With the Splashtop PC Keyboard setting the biggest issue is that I lose the ability to hold a key down and have the character or arrow key cursor repeat on the screen.

Love yet hate
It’s always screaming it can’t connect connect because it’s on the same network, there’s only one network! I can only fix it by restarting both devices but when it works I love it.
Great for remote gaming
I use this to play train simulator classic on my iPad, works great.

Need to hv Apple Pencil support, so that I can draw too. reconnecting and logging in takes time. This app too should hv some files transfer option drag n drop. Also would love if I can use camera and mic of iPad for my pc. But these are just wishful thinking love the app otherwise
