Good concept - but doesn’t always save
This is a great app - but I can’t rely on it to save my workouts. Workout templates are randomly erased from the main screen and also some workouts that I have completed are not showing in history. The purpose of recording workouts is to have progression and set new goals. Can’t do that without history.

Good thought but needs flexibility
The app only lets you do 2 periods of 2 exercises. I would like to be able to set different numbers of periods in a workout
1st workout of 2022 ….lost !!!
Used this on a few occasions the past couple of years with no issues…wanted to change my workout routine to splits and just as I entered my last rep …. The thing crashed and lost everything !! It was a good workout so a little pissed…pen & paper still the best.

That’s not good. Did you have the latest version of the app? Could you please email support@splitworkouts.com so I can get more details and fix any issues? UPDATE: The issue has been identified and the update has been submitted :) Thank you for your feedback!
Decent but needs work.
I like to calisthenics using the EDT style but I don’t think this app is the greatest for that. My main gripe with this app is that you only get 12 sets per workout block. That’s just not enough when you’re on minute 13 of 15 minute pull-up and dip set and squeezing out those last single reps.
It would also be nice if this app was compatible with the Apple Health app.

Thanks so much for the review. There is actually no limit to how many sets you can do.. The UI doesn’t automatically scroll, and that’s the problem. Once you reach 12 simply swipe up in the sets section for that move and you’ll be able to add more. The autoscrolling will come soon. Until then please give it another try.
Has potential
The app has a lot of potential with a few fixes. First, take care of the bugs. Can’t roll the screen to select other exercises outside of Day 1 and data doesn’t always save. Second, allow for more than two blocks per day, I do 3 or more usually. Third, allow for each block to have varying times. I usually do a 20 min block, followed by a 15 min block, and two 10 min blocks. Sometimes I’ll just do one exercise and time reps. Would be nice if the app allowed you to manipulate the block settings more. Has a lot of potential but is incredibly frustrating right now.
