This is one of the worst apps don’t bother with it.

Do not download!!!!

7 adds below I even got to look at anything. This app is a total waste of time.. I put one star because that’s the lowest but it would be zero if that was an option. Don’t waste your time!

That app crashed right after creation. We hope to have a new version soon. The app right now isn't connected to the FB stream so hoping to have that fixed soon. ~Jay

Don’t download

Don’t download this app… they don’t post anything on here ever. And they have Pop up ads any time you click anything.
I have no idea why they even have this app in the AppStore.

Zero Stars

It’s completely worthless. No formatting and no content that’s readable on the app. Save the memory space on your device and just download a nice scanner app if you want information.

This app is glitching and there are no post. When ever I scroll down to reload it shuts down. Fix your app. I like the idea of Spokane news because it’s soul purpose is to post what is heard on scanner and I refuse to go back to Facebook just for Spokane news.

Isn’t working. JSON error

Like the app when it is working but constantly have problems seeing posts. This time I’m getting JSON cannot be serialized because for at is not correct. No way to contact the website even because of this error.

Can’t get past the login screen.

Error messages when I try and register a new account or when I try and link my Facebook. Can’t sign up or link so it’s functionality useless. Oh well.

Doesn’t work anymore on iPhone 7

Used to work great but now just will not show any news stories.

It does nothing

So far I haven’t seen one notification, or post. Somehow I was dumb enough to pay for premium membership, and still there is nothing. I can use it to open marketplace, and listen to the scanner. I already have a scanner app. and can access marketplace through FB. At this point, 3 months in, I would save the memory on my phone, and especially the $6-$7 for the membership, and have some tacos instead.

Worth downloading for notifications

The app itself needs some work aesthetically and there aren’t as many comments as seen on Facebook, but the notifications are fantastic, worth five stars...and honestly, a bit addicting! Best way to know what’s going on in Spokane right after most any incident in the area.

4th grade quality

Really want to love this app as it’s great when it works, which is about 3% of the time.
I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled countless times.
Just really troublesome and poor
Thank goodness they’re not the ones contacting emergency response

Was a great app and then quit working

This was an excellent news app, but (as my title states), it quit working all together in that it quit giving notifications and news when the app is opened.
Bottom line: I’m glad I did not pay real money for it and instead got the free version.

Link sent via e-mail doesn’t work

Registered using e-mail as I don’t do Facebook . Received e-mail but verification link doesn’t work

10/12/18–Received rapid email from developer and they were well on their way to resolving the issue. Since then the app has worked flawless for me. Thanks!

Your review is right after our initial release and the email verification issue was for everyone. We removed that completely and also approved every account to make sure this was fixed. I was so excited

I don’t have Facebook, so I was extremely excited to see that Spokane News had an app that I could use instead to follow all that was going on, but it’s just not ready yet. I received at least 7 notifications about a fire on Argonne, 4 of them coming one minute apart at 11p. I like to stay on top of the news, but that was a bit too much for me!

Useless app

I downloaded the app and registered as a new user... A message pop up said I’d be sent a link to my email to verify my email address and then I’d be able to log in... The link never came even after several attempts of trying again... I finally gave up and when I tried again this morning, a new message popped up that said invalid credentials... I deleted the app... it shouldn’t be this hard...

Finally

Now I can actually see what’s going on instead of waiting for FB to put it in my newsfeed. Notifications are awesome. Along with quickly being able to post ads.
