Very Helpful App!
I love this app, but I doctored a star because it way too often shows me places on the other side of the country. Plus, the search function isn’t great and the UX design needs some work. That being said definitely worth it if you have food, allergies, and I’ve really enjoyed putting reviews up. After I have a great experience at a restaurant. 😍

INCREDIBLE APP!
Spokin is an incredible resource for those with any food allergies or dietary restrictions. When I had no idea what was safe after being diagnosed with allergies, Spokin was a well full of information that allowed me to find a community and safe products, colleges, restaurants, and more. It is so easy to look for safe food options, and it has provided me with an incredible community of people who are experiencing the same struggles. I have found some of my favorite restaurants and food products through this app. I would HIGHLY recommend this app to everyone!!

Latex allergy
This is a neat app but it would be great if it had a latex allergy filter. It’s so hard to find kitchens that don’t use latex gloves especially when you are traveling. My mother can’t eat at any restaurant that uses latex gloves even if her food isn’t prepared with the gloves because the latex protein stays on the kitchen surfaces.

Amazing app for allergy individuals!
If you have severe allergies, or your child, or a close family member or friend does, download Spokin! I love that you can search a city and a type of cuisine to find a whole blog about different restaurants, the main ingredients used, and their review of whether they felt safe eating there! I also love leaving reviews and recommendations about allergy-friendly and allergy-free restaurants and cafes that I’ve tried. It’s seriously my favorite app, especially when traveling. Definitely give it a download!

I’ve never used this app before and with every email I put in to get started it rejects me. I can’t even get started to use the darn thing. Very frustrating.

Spokin has been super helpful as someone with celiac allergy, i’m used to having anxiety while traveling and going to different restaurants, but now I feel confident that I can always find safe options wherever I go. Hands down the best app for finding safe restaurants and brands. With my peanut and tree nut allergy, I feel so much safer knowing that I can eat at places trusted by others in my same situation. As someone with a peanut and tree nut allergy, it’s hard to navigate eating out and trusting new restaurants. With Spokin, I can easily look up restaurants, see how allergy-friendly they are, and read reviews from people with similar allergies before deciding where to go.
I also really like how simple it is to write my own reviews and share my experiences. I can mention how well a restaurant handled my allergy, note what I ordered, and even upload photos to help others. The app is super easy to use. I highly recommend it for anyone with food allergies!

The best allergy app!!
Truly the best allergy app out there! Spokin helped me feel confident in studying abroad and beyond studying abroad, the app has helped me in finding safe places to eat. There is so much useful and in-depth allergy information on food products and their verified brand partners. I love the variety of guides they put out it really shows that allergies are not and don’t have to be a scary/restricting thing. I have been able to eat out in so many different countries/states because of Spokin and it has made travel planning so much easier. Being able to follow people with similar allergies who live around me has helped me discover new restaurants or try restaurants in my area that I’ve avoided due to my allergies. The app has so many amazing features and information beyond restaurant recommendations, one being inputting your auto-injector information and it will notify you when it is about to expire. Whether you have food allergies or know someone with food allergies, Spokin is the app to have!!!

Spokin is such an amazing app for people with food allergies! Not only does it help you find places to eat and food products to try, but it also allows you to share the restaurants you have successfully dined at with the whole community. Especially when I am in a foreign city or country, I can always count on the reviews to send me to the right restaurant that will accommodate my allergies and take them seriously. The map feature helps me tell how far away the restaurants are from where I am staying and pick the best one for me. Highly recommend downloading the app if you or a family member has food allergies!!

I don’t really understand the negative review. I’m in Germany and I’ve had no issue with entering the postcode or the app at all. I think it’s amazing.
