NYC narcissists wasting my time
It’s an intriguing idea, crowdsourcing looking for parking, but not when the mapping program always returns you to Manhattan, even though the app knows from your gps that you are hundreds of miles away. I got sick of having to relocate manually, never got to place where I could actually test it. (Well yes, I did—doesn’t work!)
If the description were honest and said up front it does not work elsewhere, I would classify this review as stupid, but when you create an app and let users waste their own time figuring out it’s not for them you deserve contempt. …and btw, now the whole term “The City” seems a bit grandiose. It’s not the largest, etc etc etc anymore.

Hi NetMammal, SpotHunter WORKS IN ALL states, towns, cities etc. in the U.S. The map of Manhattan you see is only part of the tutorial that is intended to teach users how to navigate in the app. After the tutorial and if you allow location-access-while-using-the-app, the app will display your current location. The app descriptions are honest and accurate. If you need further assistance please contact us at support@spothunter.org
Needs signup with Google, etc

Great feedback. Working on this feature, social login will be included in the next soon-to-be-released version.
Saves so much time and money
Worse app I have used, very inconvenient to use, and you have to pay
Response from developer
Hi uggdgddfxettd! With SpotHunter, you do NOT have to pay to find parking. This is a community based parking app, we simply ask users to share their spots so they get rewarded with tokens, which can be used to find parking spots shared by others. We are very sorry for the trouble and inconvenience. If you wish further assistance, feel free to email us at support@spothunter.org
