Very user-friendly app!
I love simple, especially when I’m trying something new and I want it to work out for me, lol, it is nice when the app sort of “helps you along” so you feel like you got it the first time. This is that sort of app - very user-friendly and simple.
Ongoing issues with broken copyright dispute system.
I am incredibly frustrated with Spotify system. I miss Anchor, which is what Spotify used to be. I constantly sourced my audio from authorized library under commercial use such as CapCut, yet my episodes continue to get flagged and blocked for copyright music, that I cannot even identify with my own files. As a non profit creator, this platform is making it impossible to share my work.

To be able to use a platform for free to get yourself out there is just an amazing feature that more app creators should use. This is an amazing experience and like I wouldn’t have thought that it would be this easy to get your voice out there and heard and with Spotify for Creators it’s amazing and I would give it a 10 and recommend this to anyone.

I have done 3 podcasts with this app and have gotten the best results from it that I could ask for
Flawed automated copyright system is hurting independent, non-profit creators.
I have been using Spotify to host my podcast, The Demon Within… Surviving MS, which is a nonprofit project dedicated to providing education and support to the multiple sclerosis community. Recently,I have faced repeated, erroneous copyright takedowns from a single claimants for content I have full commercial rights to use via CapCut platform.
Despite the fact that these claims are invalid and the music is legally licensed for my use, Spotify’s automated systems have repeatedly removed my episodes (including episodes 2, 3, 8, 9, 13, and 14) without a clear path to human review. As a creator who provides this content free of charge to those suffering from chronic illness, the current process is incredibly disheartening.
It is clear that the automated content ID system is malfunctioning, and the current dispute process opaque and slow. I hope Spotify will invest more in human-led oversight for independent creators rather than relying on bots that penalize those who are following the rules. I’m currently considering moving my show to a platform that better supports creators who use licensed assets.
I have appealed each episode that has been blocked by Spotify, yet have not gotten back a response.
