I was thinking of building something like this myself - but glad someone else has already made it!

Needs work to be truly useful :
1) Front and/or back camera (as opposed to front only currently )
2) needs to Allow the user to draw motion detection area to avoid background moving objects causing false positives
3) Needs to take snaps of the actual motion that triggered a start stop(and keep timing like split laps until physically attended to the device) to avoid false positives by your neighbours dog or what not.
Video log of the whole thing would be great with key time events (like YouTube ...)

Incomplete instructions. Takes ages to sync two devices. Overall a good idea but a useless application.
