Not for disabilities

Spyragon/ 2 points / not for disabilities Sun 4 Feb 24] Hello I was excited to see this as dark theme, but that has waned because there’s bright flashing on matching. I suffer from epilepsy. ⚙️ ⚙️ ⚙️ Disappointing that yet another developer doesn’t have any concept of people with disabilities. :-[ ⚙️ ⚙️ ⚙️ Please fix so that it doesn’t happen and we disabled people can use it. Yours sincerely —]

Works fine, doesn’t progress

No clue what the problem is with all the reviews complaining about the controls. They’re explained when you load and they work just fine.
This is a great concept for a game. But it doesn’t go anywhere. Once you internalize the handful of patterns to ensure you can always make a match the game never gets any harder. Because the replacement pips are random both getting a big combo or ending up “game over” is not something you actually control. In classic you build up helps where you can change a pip to a random color, and you can have a hundred of them saved up, and still end up game over because you never get a chance to use one once the random new pips are in and you have no solutions. Kind of silly.

The speed level isn’t even all that different, I’ve currently got over a minute and a half of banked time to ensure I can make a match before game over and it never takes more than fifteen seconds to find one. This game will go on forever.

Fusion would be fun but the directionality of the new pieces is just as random as the color so you can’t really have a strategy for keeping the board clear.

There are “levels” but they don’t mean anything. You get a score but it doesn’t mean anything.

Great basis for a game, but it now needs some game theory applied to make it something you play for more than a week.

Response from developer

Thank you for the thorough review! In the latest release, we did make updates that address some of the points mentioned. For instance, Swaps now allow the user to select the new color. Speed mode also now has decreasing time coins, which make the game get progressively harder. And Fusion mode now has toggles, so you can change the directionality of the Color Pairs before inserting them. Another note about Classic mode is that the Builder tool is intended to be used to build larger Stars/Combos. So while one can just memorize a list of patterns to always find matches of size 3-4, it completely overlooks the goal of building Stars of size 5-10+ and Combos of 3+ colors, which is what makes the game fun. Unlocking Levels is also what generates new Swaps, and Swaps are crucial for generating giant Stars/Combos. For more information, please see the Directions page, or our website (spyraverse.com).

Wow!!

I love this game once you get how to play it it’s just amazing and for those saying there’s a bug bc it snaps back it’s just cuz you have 2 moves to match 3 dots

It's good

The snap back into place because you only have two of us to get a thing in order or they snap back into a place. So just try to again and remember what I said.

Never know what will actually turn

I’ve swiped the same place twice and watched it turn differently each time. It will Jack the entire game up.

Thanks for the feedback. If you are using Turn Controls (the default), be sure to always touch the inside of the hexagon. Touch one point inside the hexagon, and then slide your finger in the direction you want it to turn. Do not touch the hexagon edges, because that can impact the neighboring hexagon. Also, do not go through the center of the hexagon (think of the center as the axle of rotation). If you are using One-Touch Controls, also be sure to always touch the inside of the hexagon. Tap the inner-right side to turn clockwise, and tap the inner-left side to turn counter-clockwise. Do not touch the center or the edges/circles, and do not slide your finger around (that's why it's called One-Touch). Also see Directions for more details on the Controls. Controls can be switched at any point in Settings. And make sure to download the latest version, which includes the latest tweaks. Hope this helps, and thanks again for playing!

Has potential if…

So the basic idea is to rotate the hexagons and match the colours. But for whatever reason the hexagons won’t stay when rotated and will revert back to there original position. Which makes for trying to match colours really difficult and annoying. I’m not sure if this is a bug or as intended but it does slow and hinder progress. If they change that then the game would be more fun.

Fix controls please

I would have given It a 5- it’s a fun game, makes you think. But the controls are awful. Half the time I am yelling “THATS NOT THE WAY I CLICKED!” Please fix the controls.

Frustrating

Right off the bat couldn’t complete the first level. I made a few matches, even scored a double match, then the hexagon wheels kept snapping back so that I couldn’t make any more matches.
Deleted. Too frustrating.

game works fine, takes a little patience.

see title

Swipe and one touch do not work properly or easily

Very frustrating. I finally gave up and deleted it.

Controls dont work

Terrible, controls don't work

Interesting game, just accessibility issues

Love the concept of this game, it’s challenging and the art is minimalistic.
The only issues I find is that I struggle to tell the difference between the red, orange and yellow colours
An option to be able to have a “colourblind option” would be great or have some kind of symbol on each dot to be able to further tell the dots apart.
Oh! Also the animation between levels is a little long, but that is really a personal preference.
Keep doing good work! ☺️
