User reviews

Awful

Can’t use the newest version. Autocomplete does not work, app freezes, keyboard disappears, app resets when navigating to another app and returning to this app, causing the user to lose everything they were working on.

Response from developer

Hi, I’ve not had any other reports of this - could you email me kyle@hankinsoft.com and/or drop a line on the github issues support site? That way I can help sort this out for you.

Responsive app and developer

I’ve been trying out the iPad/iPhone version and love how fast it is. I can remote into my machine at work and run SSMS but this is much easier to see and work with as a native app. And of course it isn’t Microsoft that bothered to make it. I had an issue with saved servers disappearing and sent Kyle an email with a screen recording and he responded and fixed the issue THE SAME DAY. Good luck doing that with corporate support systems. Give it a try!

Happy to hear you are enjoying the app and always happy to help!

Gotta do their 7-day free trial to use any part of it

Just let us test it out without having to give you our info.

Can’t use

Even though I’ve had a subscription for years, the app prompts me to subscribe and the results are locked.

Great concept but the auto complete smothers it

Fundamentally I really like the product but only on smaller Databases. When there is a large database the autocomplete function totally drags this app down to the point where its not usable.

FAQ

What does SQLPro for MSSQL do?

SQLPro for MSSQL is a client application designed to provide quick and simple access to Microsoft SQL Server databases. It allows users to connect to local or cloud-hosted MSSQL servers, execute queries, and manage database objects efficiently.

What are the key features of this app?

Key features include Intellisense for SQL autocompletion, syntax highlighting for improved readability, a tabbed interface for managing multiple queries, and quick access to tables and columns. It also offers SSH tunneling and supports both dark and light themes.

How much does SQLPro for MSSQL cost?

The app is free to download and use for basic access. However, to interact with database result sets, a Premium upgrade is required. This upgrade is available as a one-time Lifetime Purchase or through a subscription with monthly and yearly options.

What versions of SQL Server are supported?

The app supports Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and above, including cloud services like SQL Azure and Amazon RDS. While it can connect to SQL Server 2000, this version is not officially supported. SQL Server Express is also supported, provided it's configured for remote connections.

Can I use this app with databases other than SQL Server?
