What's New in Squall

1.4

August 23, 2026

A timer you can read from the other side of the gym. TANK — A NEW CLOCK FACE, FREE The whole screen is the clock. Colour fills the display and drains downward as the interval burns down, so how much time is left reads as a height — no squinting at digits from the back of the room. • Full at the start of every interval, empty as it ends. Work burns amber to deep red; rest cools through sea-green to navy, so work and rest tell themselves apart with the numbers ignored entirely. • Under a minute, the clock drops to bare seconds and fills the screen — biggest exactly when it matters most. • On your wrist too, where a glance too quick to focus on digits is still long enough to read a waterline. • Free for everyone, on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. FIXES • Training streaks are now correct everywhere. In time zones whose daylight-saving change happens at midnight — Havana, Santiago, Asunción, Tehran, Beirut — a streak could break even though you'd trained every day, and your longest-ever streak could read far short. Both now count correctly, and the streak badge and the Progress dashboard always agree.

Excellent workout timer

Excellent workout timer. Perfect for my workouts.

Best WOD Timer

I’m so impressed with this timer! It’s beautiful, easy to use, and makes my workouts much more enjoyable. It syncs with my watch, records all of my workouts, heart rate, calories burned, etc. I like that I can add notes to my workouts, and can save workouts that I do frequently. I can listen to my music, or even watch videos while the timer is working in the background. My favorite part is that you can change the clock face so it never gets boring. It even has a “hold to end” button so you don’t accidentally stop the workout. It’s everything you would want in a workout timer. Bravo!
