Sq cap review

More convenient for students to be able to do it on their phones especially if they forgot their computer/battery died. Wish I knew this app existed before.

Helpful in College Bio Courses

Very helpful in working to practice concepts learned in class and for review before exams. Appreciated the ability to add explanations to correct answers.

Squarecap Review

Overall, the app is simple and easy to use. It’s very convenient in asking questions and allows you to choose whether or not you want to see the correct answer. Also gives you an explanation of the answer.

Squarecap

The app was pretty easy to access and manage.

Terrible

Barely got into the app and it was laggy and glitchy. Terrible service

Subscription service for students?

Really? You’re gonna make students pay $15 for a semester? Any professor using this service should be fired immediately when Kahoot does the exact same thing without passing the burden of payment to the students. Furthermore, the app layout and setup is horrendous. How do you not have the money to fix this when you’re scrapping the bottom of every student’s wallet? Also, the only reason you can’t set up the subscription through the app is because then Apple would get a portion of profits and would allow you to cancel the subscription through the App Store, which would be way to easy and would defeat the money-grabbing purposes the developers made this app for.

Bugs

The app does not send push notifications when questions or sessions open. Within the app, when a question opens, a pop up appears but tapping it is not recognized properly. The current UI view (scroll depth) is not taken into account, either.

Can’t even cash grab properly

I have to purchase a subscription for my class which uses this and you cannot purchase it through the app. This app is already unnecessarily expensive with other platforms like Canvas doing its job for free and better. Don’t use this app.

I hate UT

I have a love hate relationship with this school and this is why

Major cash grab

Unnecessary and overpriced subscription. Selfish business tactic at the end of the day.
