Not working properly

I saw another user is having the same problem. All settings are set to beginner and easy. The game is still giving double digit questions. Frustrating. Asking for a refund.

Not working properly

This could provide really good practice. Both my children enjoyed playing and like the ability to trade stars for Squeebles. I liked how it was customizable for different players with tables. However that feature doesn't seem to work correctly. Despite the settings my older child gets easier questions and younger child gets harder questions. Frustrating for them and me!

Faulty Subtraction Settings

I’m very frustrated. I just purchased this app to help my son practice simple subtraction facts. Even when set to the beginner settings, it is giving him problems like 65–14 repeatedly. I’m looking for single digit subtraction but there is no option for that.

Response from developer

Hi. If you e-mail us on info@keystagefun.co.uk then we should be able to sort this out. We have tested every setting and the beginner level only ever asks single digit subtraction questions to 10, so I'm guessing you're not selecting the correct level or have something set incorrectly in the settings. Please e-mail us and we can get the issue resolved so you can use the app as intended. Many thanks. Ian, KeyStageFun.

Daughter hates it

Because this app makes the maths a race it puts pressure on your child to win. If your child is a bad looser I wouldn’t bother. She hates it.

Response from developer

Hi there. Sorry to hear that your daughter didn't enjoy the app. The key thing we have learned over the years is that different children learn in different ways. Some love the pressure and competitiveness of a timed challenge, whilst others find that stressful and prefer to learn at their own pace. Our view is that neither approach is right or wrong - just different - and we have tried to create a variety of apps that work for different children and their preferred way of learning so there is "something for everyone" in the Squeebles range of apps. This particular app works in a race format and is aimed at children who like the competitiveness that entails, either against the computer or a friend or sibling. We have tried to be clear about what the app features, but if we haven't managed that then apologies. If you want to get in touch by e-mailing info@keystagefun.co.uk we would be happy to recommend an alternative app that your daughter may prefer and feel more comfortable with and I'm sure a refund can be organised via Apple if you purchased the app recently. Once again, I'm sorry your daughter didn't enjoy the app and you felt that it warranted a one star review. We work hard to try and ensure we create apps that work for children of all learning styles and in your case, it's a shame we missed the mark. I hope you give us another chance and your daughter finds one of our other apps more suited to her. All the best, Ian, KeyStageFun - info@keystagefun.co.uk

Brilliant competitive fun

We love this! You can change the difficulty levels for each player so that an adult can play a child without unfair advantage. The children love earning new characters.
