About
sshido is a fast, private SSH terminal for iPhone and iPad — built for driving AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex,
aider) on your own remote servers from your phone.
Features:
- Terminal with tmux session persistence — your work survives reconnects
- Metal-accelerated rendering for smooth scrollback even on long output
- Push notifications when your remote agent finishes a task or needs input
- SSH keys stored in the iOS Keychain, protected by Face ID / Touch ID
- ed25519 key generation on-device — keys never leave the phone
- Customizable keyboard shortcut bar tuned for shells and editors
- Selectable terminal themes
- Open source, with a self-hostable push relay you can run yourself
Privacy:
- SSH credentials are stored only in the iOS Keychain.
- The optional push relay only receives your APNs token, a random subscriber ID, and a notification count — never
credentials or terminal content. You can self-host the relay (free, always free).
- Anonymized crash and performance diagnostics via Sentry, with credentials and terminal content scrubbed before
transmission. See the in-app Privacy Policy for details.
- No ads. No third-party tracking SDKs. No accounts.
