Very bad app

This app should never be used during an emergency nor should it even be downloaded

Very useful app

Everybody should have this app on there phone.

Outstanding

Best app ever

Fabulous idea

Great idea. As a teacher it makes me feel more secure knowing that the app is right there and on the iPads too!

Best idea ever

This could save lives, a great app which everyone should install

Great and very useful

Fantastic App, I like it cause you'll never know that you could be in a situation where you would have to help with saving someone's life. An easy and simple
Way of having a
understanding of CPR. I like the timer as well 👍

Must have app

Great design, simple, easy to use and follow the instructions.

Electricians dream

Great app and should be promoted on electricians magazines. Thanks.

Good but...

I know it sounds dumb but It doesn't explain the technique to breath air into the person ???

Great idea but too basic

Should have baby, child CPR as well as an option during the steps. Could be amazing with little extra input

Retina version

...Would be nice.

Very basic - more useful would be...

Imagine if they got a really tech-savvy person to show all the public defibrillators nearby. That would make this a killer App. Even better, St John members tracked on their iPhones so that a nearby "specialist" could be there to help! Oh! Spooky! :)

Good app

Good app
It would be great to see a St John first aid app or Phec one

Great app for free

Thanks St John's NZ for giving me what your Oz counterparts wouldn't, a free CPR app. I hope I never have to use it, but it gives me peace of mind anyway. Please add CPR instructions for toddlers/kids & I'll up my rating to 5 stars

Good start

Great to see a New Zealand first aid app, but it's very basic. App just has a basic slideshow arrangement for the steps of CPR and the ol' 30 compressions / 2 breaths. And a button to call an emergency number. That's it. No timing for babies/kids, no info on how far to compress / how much rescue breath to use, no info on how to handle different hazards at the scene. No instructions on how to handle other situations like fits/bleeding/choking.

Default number

The reason the default number is 911 is because that number works internationally in most countries connecting to the correct local number.

Pretty good

Could see someone being able to use this for CPR in an emergency. Would like to see a version with more comprehensive emergency first aid as well.

Great App

Good start. Needs to be built onto incorporate more medical basics. Let's hope st John have the funds. Apps like this should ship with iPhone by default

Why is 911 set as default emergency number?!

Fantastic app to help out in an emergency but bemused that the default number is 911 (the American number) so requires the user to change the number to the NZ one 111!

A very handy thing to have

What a great thing to have on your phone. I only hope that if i ever need it, i remember i have it. You can even customize it to have your local emergency number it in.
