About

A calm, private journal for Bitcoin and Ethereum investing, for one person or a household of up to five. Record every buy, sell and transfer, and see your average cost and returns. Stackbook is for people who buy steadily and want a clear record of it, without handing their data to anyone. RECORD EVERYTHING • Buys, sells, transfers in, out or between your own wallets, and balance adjustments • Backdate entries to wherever your journey began, so your averages stay true • Trading fees and network or withdrawal fees, kept apart • A note on any entry • Import a CSV from a spreadsheet or an exchange export, match its columns, and review every row before it's added RECURRING BUYS (DCA), RECONCILED • Set up weekly, fortnightly, monthly or quarterly plans: buy a fixed amount, or sell a fixed amount or a share of a holding • Each scheduled date adds a pending entry. Pending entries never count in your balances until you confirm them • Reconcile a batch in one go: enter the total coin your exchange shows, and Stackbook splits it across the buys by cash weight, exactly, down to the smallest unit • Prefer hands-off? Set a plan to automatic and each entry is approved at that day's closing price SEE WHERE YOU STAND • Portfolio value, amount invested, average cost, realized and unrealized gain or loss, return (ROI) and total fees • Value versus invested over time • Price charts for Bitcoin and Ethereum at 1D, 1W, 1M, 1Y and ALL, with your average buy price marked • Up-to-date prices from CoinGecko, cached on your device, with the time of the last update shown. Price history reaches back one year ONE HOUSEHOLD, UP TO FIVE PEOPLE • Every entry belongs to one person • View everyone together, or one person at a time • One journal, kept in sync on your iPhone and iPad through your own iCloud GOALS AND WHAT-IFS • Set a goal for an amount of a coin or a portfolio value, and follow your progress • See roughly how long your current plans would take at today's price • Try the what-if DCA calculator: pick a weekly amount, a number of years and a yearly price change you choose. It's a what-if, not a forecast PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no sign-up and no exchange or wallet logins • No analytics, no tracking and no ads • Your journal stays on your device and in your own private iCloud, which only you can read. Turn sync off any time • Prices are fetched without identifying you • Turn on a Face ID or Touch ID lock if you want one • Export a full JSON backup or a CSV any time, and restore from a backup WHAT IT TRACKS Bitcoin and Ethereum only, valued in one of eight currencies: US dollar, euro, British pound, Canadian dollar, Australian dollar, New Zealand dollar, Singapore dollar or Japanese yen. Cost basis uses the average cost method. For iPhone and iPad, iOS 27 or later. FREE Stackbook is free, with no in-app purchases, no subscription and no ads. Privacy Policy: https://rudrajikadra.github.io/stackbook-legal/privacy.html Please note: Stackbook is a personal record-keeping tool, not financial, investment or tax advice. It doesn't buy, sell or hold cryptocurrency, and it doesn't connect to exchanges or wallets. Figures are calculated from what you enter and from public market prices, which can be delayed or unavailable.
