Frustrating and unresponsive.

This app is so poorly designed that buttons appear to be missing when theyโ€™re hidden off screen. Worse than that is the sluggish response and the utterly useless UI.

Doesn't connect to my HRM

For some reason my Garmin Fenix 6 Pro shows as a power meter, and won't connect to it as a HR source.

I can see it on other platforms on my phone such as Zwift or TrainerRoad, but not Stages Flight ๐Ÿ‘Ž

Used to be great....

.....the last update doesnโ€™t calculate the heart rate correctly in the blue and green zone. Itโ€™s about 40 bpm less than what my Apple Watch says (previously, the difference was 2 to 3 bpm); please correct / update.

Frustrating

The app will often show one reading on my power and my console another. Today I averaged 150kW but in the stages app it says 0kW.

Strava

No sinc to strava

WARNING this app is discontinued and doesnโ€™t work

WARNING data sync between bike console and this app is incorrect (ride speed is wrong, distance doesnโ€™t accumulate correctly, Rpm and power are delayed, HR is not transferred at all).
Stages has dropped Suport of this app!!!

Additionally all sync with Stava and Training Peaks and .TCX files is wrong (ride time and date is off, data is carried through wrong).

There is also no way to store the data locally (No Apple Health or file save). With the new SIC2 console usb storage was also removed.

So due to this app being broken there is no way to correctly save all your ride data

Not anywhere near good enough

Pairing this app only works with the bike before you start and press the stage button.

When this has been paired with the bike, you would expect all the days, such as watts, speed, distance covered and hr details would be captured, then once youโ€™ve completed your ride, be able to upload it to Strava, none of this is possible.

With this complete lack of ability to capture the data from your ride, makes this app pretty much an amateur attempt and something you would not expect from a company synonymous with Cycling and Power meters, so when I do take the leap and buy one for my bike, will make me think twice about buying stages

Terrible experience

Really really disappointed about the device and app that costed โ‚ฌ400. Totally user unfriendly. No explanation at all on how to link the power meter to strava. No reaction from
Customer support. What do you need to use? Flight, link or power. Such a poor explanation, in fact, no explanation at all... No connection with Bluetooth, what, every time it asks to connect? Maybe you can ask every time to connect to the internet? We are 2020. Will send it back. How can you design this so bad?

Does a good job how about Apple Watch support?

Once linked to the console it does a great job of capturing statistics. But how about integration with Apple Watch to stop start the workout, press stages to record a stage and even better if could use the heart rate monitor capability of the Apple Watch.

Please fix major issues!

Downloaded app after my on-bike screen died. This app provides so much more functionality... potentially. Unfortunately, this app keeps asking me basic setup questions EVERY time the app is opened. I have to review the privacy policy, adjust email preferences, and change account settings. Even if I have the app actively recording a workout, once the app is brought out from running in the background the questions appear again. this is extremely annoying.

Another issue is that the side menu is all screwed up. There is plenty of room to display all words, but instead all menu items show first and last two letters with ... in between, e.g. Pr...le Lo...ut. Why!?

Finally many of the on screen values are showing as 0s. I can understand the heart rate showing 0 as I do not have a monitor. But why is distance not showing up? Why doesnt the app show at least the same information as the on- bike display? The app has such potential but is not being maintained :(

Great!!

Very useful app!!

Landscape please

Pretty good basic app. If the developers are reading this then please can we have the option to use landscape orientation?

Stages Spin bike and app vary

Wish the app and the stages Sc3 would have consistent metrics. Tech support said your working on it. Please work faster to resolve this issue. ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

Will not save activities.

The app works while on the stages bike but will not save your activities and is therefore very little use.

Useless

Probably the most useless fitness app out there. I cannot look back at previous FTP test to see how I am progressing and the activities interface is confusing. Minimal info all round

Poor

WARNING. App does not work in the iPhone X. Works fine on my ancient but trusty iPhone 5s.

Flaky!! Awfully bad

Awful user interface!! Brutal to make it connect to a stages bike. Just flaky!! Really hard to connect, Data on the bike and on the app not even close. Donโ€™t even think of connecting a heart rate monitor.

Worst app and website

App is worst and website functions are just bad. Please invest in good performing tech.

Wake up

garmin heart ant + not found
A landscape mode please

Disfunctional app

With 30 bikes in the room wifi connectivity becomes a problem. Before the class all the bikes have the same wifi names. After you start pedaling the name becomes unique for a fraction of time. The problem is, that after you start workout, the bike changes itโ€™s name back to the common one and if you got disconnected, there is no way to identify your bike in the wifi list and to reconnect. There is no connectivity icon. Ftp test effectively disconnects from the bike and fails to record nan after the test. Only your calories are transferred from the bike and the sampling is such, that the color reflecting the effort is flickering from green to red all the time. The workout may not get recorded. Itโ€™s a disaster and a pity, because the bikes are really good.
