About

Before you buy a game on Steam, check whether it costs less elsewhere. Stan answers right on the game page, in Safari. When you open a game on store.steampowered.com, Stan compares the Steam price with Steam keys sold by merchants. If a compatible key costs less or the same, it appears next to the buy button. Free, no account, no sign-up. WHY STAN • Offers verified one by one, never a raw list of prices. • The Steam price and the offer side by side, without switching tabs. • Every offer checked again when you click. • Your data stays yours: nothing is sold, and the code is public. WHAT STAN CHECKS Before showing an offer, Stan verifies: • the exact game and edition, Steam package included; • a real Steam key that activates in your country; • stock and an up-to-date price; • a price at or below the Steam price shown. YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED ▸ Is a cheaper key risky? Stan excludes shared accounts, gifts, random keys and any uncertain activation. You choose which sellers appear: official resellers, direct sellers or marketplaces. ▸ What about hidden fees? Stan compares the total price, or clearly says when taxes or fees may be added at checkout. A price converted from another currency is labelled as an estimate. An equal price is never presented as a saving. ▸ Why does nothing show on some games? Because no offer passed every check. Stan would rather show nothing than a doubtful offer; coverage depends on the game, your country and available merchants. ▸ Why allow two sites in Safari? store.steampowered.com to read the price on the page, api.stan-key.com to fetch verified offers. Stan runs nowhere else. ▸ Does Stan track what I do? No. Stan only sends the game, edition, price and Steam country of the open page, with a random installation ID. No browsing history, no Steam login, no payment details. ▸ How can Stan be free? The merchant may pay Stan if you buy, at no extra cost to you, and it never changes the order: offers are ranked by price. Stan does not sell games or process payments. HOW IT WORKS 1. Install Stan and open the app: it guides you step by step. 2. Turn on Stan in Safari settings, then allow store.steampowered.com and api.stan-key.com. 3. Open a game on Steam in Safari: verified offers appear next to the price. ALSO ON YOUR COMPUTER From the app, start installing Stan in Chrome on your computer, or share Stan with a friend by link or QR code. GOOD TO KNOW This app contains the Stan Safari extension for iPhone, iPad and Mac. Safari controls extension activation and site access. On iOS and iPadOS 16.4 through 26.1, the app shows the steps to follow when it cannot read the extension’s state. On iPhone and iPad, the Steam link may open in your default browser; choose Safari if needed. Prices can change. Stan is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve.
