Mis-labeled galaxy - M53
In map 13, in the constellation Coma Berenices, M53 is labelled M35. You might want to update that. I’m pretty sure it’s an error.
Does this work anymore
Wonderful app, but I haven't used it for several years and now doesn't work in IOS 14.x... need help.
Very Useful
I bought Star Atlas 2000.0 many years ago by Wil Tirion and find this App to be very similar. Easier than carrying the large paper atlas.
Wil Tirion star chart
A good companion to ‘TriAtlas’ which is also available.
Superb aesthetics
From the same buggers who did StarDisk.
A Norton Star Atlas for my phone.

Does not work with most updated OS
I really was excited about this for my observational field needs as I have the hard cover book versions or Mr Tiron's maps but it has too many glitches under the latest OS on the IPad.
For one, you cannot set the settings bars to display messier and deep sky objects. The program allows you to toggle the switches but once you move back to the maps, the setting reverts and no deep sky objects appear on the maps.
I would give it more stars if this is fixed

Telrad Finder
The app is great, but it would be nice if one was able to turn on a bullseye very much like the Telrad and able to move that bullseye to the target you looking for. With the bullseye on the map and the bullseye on the ones Telrad-Finder it will help one have more of a perspective of where the object are in relationship to the map and in the sky. See I have the spiral bound Sky Atlas 2000.0 by Wil Tirion that's 22" X 14" and it came with a acrylic Device that has Star Magnitude, Degrees and micro-find-glass bubble and the important one is the Telrad Bullseye, with the Bullseye option I'd give it 10 stars. Note the Objective is that you can turn on the bullseye then put your finger on the bullseye and drag it to that Galaxy, Nebula, Globular Cluster, place it on that target then on looks though the Telrad on ones telescope look at the chart and compares what you see on the chart to the sky. Oh yes and able to control brightness of the bullseye as well. Thank you.

Accurate but clunky
Would be flawless if we could navigate seamlessly instead of switching manually between maps.
There is a constellation index, but if it is placed on a map margin you have to return to the index to view neighbouring constellations.
Overall, clunky navigation, there are free apps with star maps out here that are easier to use.

Un must
Une référence pour les astronomes amateurs.
Good But Could Be Great
This is a good basic star chart, not Uranometria but OK.
A few improvements could make it great:
1. Field of view circles.
2. Option to display mirror image view seen through a scope.
3. Slider to change faintest magnitude displayed.
4. Controls on screen not buried in a menu.
5. Stars to magnitude 8 or 9.

Best of the star charting programs
Easy to use and best quality charts
Chart app
Will's app does not work well with OS 6.0.1 I phone. I do think his printed charts are among the best. I hope you can correct the problems BTS
OK, but cannot replace the real book.
Need a way to tell the exact RA and Dec by touching the screen, and a way to put field of view circles or telrad circles on the chart.
Extremely disappointing
Some low detail star maps presented in an awkward interface with no context. Compared to some really great astronomy apps out there, this one is extremely disappointing. I'd urge deep sky observers to look elsewhere.
Decent
I think the idea of an app that enables you to choose a particular chart is great, and the credentials of the people involved cannot be doubted. Charts seem to be well executed.
One small critique, and I have this same one for most astronomy apps, the red filter should be right on the main screen like SkySafari does. Not buried in a menu. Give me a button to choose right when the app opens. It's just something that bugs me.

Just Ok - Could Be So Much Better
I think for basic star charts, which is what these are, no more no less, $3.99 is excessive. For star charts, I prefer Star Atlas (which unfortunately is an iPhone app and not universal) which has greater functionality and is currently free (even when it wasn't free it was only $ .99). For example, in Star Atlas, you can search by Messier Number, or Constellation Name and when you select the item, the appropriate chart will automatically be brought up on the screen with the desired item centered!

Tirion is the master star charter
Like all of Tirion's work, these charts are very nice looking and easy to read. The only down side is this app seems slower than it needs to be.
Mr stony
Work well and am pleased with it so far
Star charts by Wil Tirian
I had expected up to magnatude 8 stars like the printed version STAR ATLAS 2000
