Keeps shutting down
Attempting to use the stacker on an iPhone 13 Pro Max. App continues to shutdown when you begin to stack. Not many options out there for an iPhone to stack.

Skip using pc to stacking, this works much better for video. Would be good to have the option of exporting live photo.
I Use This App to Teach My Students!
I teach Milky Way and Landscape photography on my western workshops, and find this to be the best app for producing star trails images. It’s all the most versatile app! Hoping it remains available to my students!
Good and useful
The app is good and useful especially the video import and export part. Reason why I put only 4 star because the help info to explain different options of stacking is missing. Also the speed of stacking is slow as compared with other star stacking apps.

Simple Program without much documentation
The program seems to have little to no documentation on use and or file formats it can work with. It stacked almost 300 jpegs, but gave me no options as to what I could do to improve the blend mode or appearance of the star trails. The program did stack the images, but Adobe Lightroom did most of the heavy lifting in prepping the images. I guessed that jpegs would work as it would not allow me to select raw files. I give it a 3 Star rating which is a C as it is about as basic as it gets in stacking and does not assist the user in getting more out of the program to achieve a archival finished image. I would only recommend this program for the hobbits who has low expectations and just wants to stack frames.

Perfect for stacking stars for star trails, moon for
I’m a astrophotography hobbyist since 2009 with my Canon T1i, 2014 Canon 70D, and since 2023 with my Canon R5. Widefield astrophotography allows creativity, capturing foreground with sky objects. Stat Stacker is a great tool for the any astrophotographer.

Crashes but decent
Pretty good for a mobile app and does what it says. However, it does tend to crash a lot making it hard to use consistently. I would also love the ability to align the stars across all shots to create one image with very clear stars would be amazing, I think there is currently no apps that do that for mobile.

Easy Stacker of Photos
Makes stacking of Astrophotography very easy
Doesn’t work on my iPhone
Used this app on others iPhones and worked well. I buy it and it will not upload any of my photos no matter what I do ( well it will upload and work if I limit to only a few photos but what good is that when I have 1000 overnight photos? I have done more than 1000 photos before on another iPhone no problem)…wasted my money. And yes I have full access given to Star Stacker for my photos. So frustrating. I also can’t find support to help.

Not good
Keeps crashing everyone o try to stack, can’t find where to delete previous images, just keeps stacking over old ones
Simple to use and excellent results
I find the app straightforward to use. At the end you have the choice of media you wish to produce, an overlay or movie. Love it. Well done.
Star Stacker not easy to use
This program is $3.99 and very un-user-friendly.

The Idea of the app is good but For it to be worth the money and not have things that meet the astrophotographers needs? The app needs manual stacking and editing software for it to be suitable to be used for astrophotography. For both planetary and deep sky objects.
